  1. In really good shape for what its worth, functions just fine. Could ideally use another spring or two on the back of the tremolo to help with staying in tune, but this is more a preference. I needed a cheap guitar when I was teaching for several years and this did the job, something you can leave in the car and not care about, etc. No longer needed, £50 collected from me in Egham gets it. I think this is the guitar more or less https://www.andertons.co.uk/brands/encore/encore-e6-electric-guitar-3-tone-sunburst IMG_6395.HEIC IMG_6396.HEIC
  2. Really nice guy and super happy with the trade we worked out. Happy to say everyone on here can buy/trade from Arnold with confidence and peace of mind. Thanks again mate! All the best
  3. You can hear the bass on this track https://open.spotify.com/track/6DU4dKmXuvzgjgaX7R5bJB?si=9d87197e86144083 ...more actual bass tone towards verse 2, 1:05 ish
  4. Ouch! Been there myself, always takes too long for back problems to heal up. Hopefully it's feeling a bit better with the chiropractor appointments. No problem, still available at the moment so just let me know how it's looking on your end.
  5. Willing to take £50 off for a quick sale if that can tempt you anymore! 😁
  6. Thanks mate! You're welcome to come and try it out if/when. Good luck with the sale of your 51P
  7. Sold Looking to sell on my KK Baby Bass. The tone is incredible from this thing and is such a joy to play, it's actually what got me into upright bass. With the small turn of a screw at the back you can go from low down action like a fretless electric up to high up blister heaven tone zone. The bass benefits from the newer model of bridge, and a tonal palette that can be sculpted on board from a tone knob and two screws on either side of the bridge to dial in tones from the classic Ampeg Baby Bass latin tone, to a more acoustic sound, or a more dub like thump. Strung with Thomastik Spirocore strings and includes a soft case and rather robust stand the bass can live on. Great shape overall, two small flakes of paint missing which I've documented in the photos. Ideally looking for cash, but would consider a trade for a Rivoli/EB-2 style bass or a Moollon Jazz V. Not a postage friendly instrument, but welcome to come try either at mine (TW20 0TJ) or at my studio in Battersea. Cheers, -Noah
  8. Glad to see there's so much love for the MTD basses out there. Before I even tried one I knew there was something special to them, even just looking at them is a treat! haha
  9. Price reduction, now brought down to £4k
  10. Thank you mate, it is as much bass as it is a work of art 😁
  11. Words simply don't do this bass the justice it deserves, but hopefully pictures will help! I didn't intend on buying it, I thought- I'll just try it...Famous last words! The tone is crazy, unlike anything I've ever played. Super versatile, juicy as hell and slaps like a mother, but also cuts through a mix in a very tasteful way. The sassafras top is a piece of art in itself. I bought this bass new in January from Bass Direct. You can get all the details on it here: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/MTD_USA_535_Sassafras_BEM.html It's in exactly the same condition I bought it in, so I would call it new still. No dings or anything. You could have supremely low action on this if that's your thing. It's currently setup somewhere between medium and low at the minute. Looking for £5k £4k. Cash is king, but I'd consider a part trade for a Moollon Jazz V, or perhaps the right vintage Fender bass 60's era ideally. I'm in Egham 10 min off the M25, welcome to come try it out. You can hear the bass on this track, verse 2 is the most 'raw' bass tone in the track: https://open.spotify.com/track/6DU4dKmXuvzgjgaX7R5bJB?si=BVjO7OZoSS2iSAyTTSw7-g Additional Details: -Body - Swamp Ash -Top - Premium quality Tasmanian Sassafras ( £800 option) -Matching heal - (£50 option) -Matching head - (£50 option) -Satin finish -Custom knobs in matching wood (£150 option) -Neck - Ash with Titanium bars (£150 option) -Fingerboard - Bird’s eye maple, 24 fret (£250 option) -Pickups - Custom MTD Bartolini soapbars -Preamp - Custom MTD Bartolini 3 band -Finish for body and neck is a satin catalyzed urethane. -Weight - 4kg/9lb -MTD Pro Tec case (£160 option) Thanks, -Noah
  12. 4x10 now down to £350, would like to sell before I leave for the month in August if anyone is interested!
  13. 2x10 and 1x15 now sold! 4x10 now reduced to £400
  14. Always in pursuit of certain tones... I've definitley racked up too many of these along the way. The 2x10 and 1x15 go on top of each other to make a great sounding stack. 4x10 was my personal favourite, real sweet on its own. Cash or trades considered, I'm based in Egham 5 min off M25, J13. I also travel around the UK quite a bit for gigs so worth an ask if you're not London-ish. Trade wise, mostly thinking basses. A nice fretless, Fender five strings, a Music Man or something with a juicy neck pickup. 104HF -£450 £400 £350 In good shape with a roqsolid cover. Bought from new, noticed the tweeter doesn't work but never bothered to send it back as I always liked how this one sounded- all 4x10 speakers and cab is in great shape. I put a black speaker cloth in front of the grill to mask the orange cones, can easily be removed. 4 ohms, Made in Indonesia. 102HF - £300 In good shape, everything works and sounds just as it should. 8 ohms, Made in Italy. 151P - £320 Traveller cab, very close to new shape. Barely been used. 8 ohms, Made in Indonesia. Would sell the 2x10 and 1x15 together for £580
  15. Do you know what the scale length and string spacing is?
  16. Just put a new set of strings on and took it out for a gig last night, this bass is thumping and has a great tone to it that goes a few directions depending how you position the tone knob. Price knocked down to £750, come put it to use!
  17. Do you know what the rest of the woods used on the bass are besides the walnut top? Thanks
