  1. Bought a squier protone from Phil. Received safe and sound, nicely packaged. Thanks!
  2. Hi. The stock jags don't come with DiMarzio pickups which cost a further £105 and recent pro setup
  3. Hi No, I'm afraid it doesn't have a case. It has never left my house since buying it from someone on bass chat so I've never needed to buy one. Thanks for the interest Mark.
  4. For sale is my short scale squier jaguar. It has been upgraded with DiMarzio DP126 pickups. Recently been professionally set up and has new D'addario strings. A few light scatches on back and on pick guard but overall in good condition. Price includes UK postage.
  5. Thanks.Picked up the Harley Benton today. Seems OK to my untrained ear.
  6. Looking to buy my first bass amp. Will be used for rehearsals and maybe the odd pub gig. Don't want to spend more than £200 really. There is a swr workingman 10 on here for sale but it is a long way from me so the seller is looking into postage. There is also a harley benton ba250h bass head with a 4x10 bb410t which is up for £150 and is local. Not much info on the head as thomann don't sell it anymore. Any opinions are gratefully received. Cheers
  7. I'm struggling to find a good teacher in East London/West Essex so I'm considering lessons via Skype. I have no experience of using skype at all let alone for receiving bass lessons. I was wondering if anyone has experience of this type of lesson and if they are worthwhile. How do they compare to a face to face lesson? Also, my wife and daughters wont appreciate my awful bass playing (I'm a beginning)through an amp. Is there any way of plugging the bass into the pc so that I can hear me though headphones and the teacher can also hear their end? Look forward to any advice Thanks PS If you have any teacher recommendations for people who have perfected this way of teaching that would be great.
