It's up for £1450, he's offered it to me for £1k. That's a lot for a T40, but it is sexy, sienna burst with a rosewood fretboard.

There's a Peavey T40 in The Bass Gallery, rare colour fretboard combo and absolutely gorgeous, but too much money for me. The seller contacted me and, to be fair, offered me a great reduction. But it's still more than I'd like to pay for a T40. But then if prices are creeping up do I just keep it until the prices have caught up. Always wanted one, never owned one. I'm going to crumble on something soon, I can feel it.

That seems a fair offer. It's lovely but with postage it's nearly a £1k 1200s. I'm torn between a few basses at the mo, having one of those dangerous spendy urges. 😁

I was looking for Peavey T40 reviews and watched this video on YouTube. He has a few HBs and loves them.

Taking the neck off a Fender to adjust the trussrod is an even more stupid idea than the intonation adjustment screws on a classic Rickenbacker bridge.

The problem with Bluetooth headphones is the latency they introduce into the chain. A time lag from playing music via Bluetooth into unit won't matter, but listening to yourself playing via Bluetooth out of the unit is a real problem. Edit: That is any unit used for practice.

There was also a BB714BS on ebay I was keeping an eye on. I ended up having a snooze yesterday afternoon and missed the ending. It went for the starting bid of £325. I fancied trying one of them.

Yes I've seen that they're working towards a second run. Kind of a shame as it was nice thinking you had something really quite rare, plus the added bonus of it probably only going up in value. Don't get me wrong, I bought it to use, not lock away, but it would be a bonus if it had gone up in value if I ever sold it.

A BBPH has just ended on ebay at £1400. 2 bids 1 bidder, so bid the starting price of £1400 and then put in a higher amount to make sure they didn't get outbid. Obviously happy to pay more than £1400. Anyone on here?
