DHA EQ/DI pedal New

ive just moved out into a much nicer neighbourhood and i suddenly feel horrible playing all my stuff really loudly, headphone amp sounds ace loads of control over the mids sounds super ace, i love control over the mids. i'd love to be kept informed with how this is going, i love the tones of my Pearce BC1 preamp and also of my sansamp, but i'd love to have a go with one of these. any headphoney type things i've used in the past have only given me rubbish tones.
2. what's the tone like? if you can compare it to anything?
3. unfortunately i wont be able to come down to this, thought if there is another one someone let me know please!!
4. for anyone who has been put off diago boards after reading about this, the newer ones ive used when compared to older ones ive had use much stronger glue under the carpet and feel looooooooads sturdier - bloody excellent.
5. Final incarnation for a while i reckon, got loads more stuff off the board for other stuff, but this is what i use mostly.
6. takeshi uses the digitech whammy II, same chip as in the old whammy wh1. for his distortion sounds - you need a p bass with newish strings and preferably a pearce bc1 pre amp, this is what takeshi has used for pretty much every mcm record, i used to copy the PARK album tone with this setup as it's my favourite. if you want any more help with takeshi's stuff add me on msn, ive gone over all his stuff in mega detail. ant.
7. dont drink... you post daft thingas
8. ...wants a description of the geddy lee style jazz neck, the precision neck is often described as wide and shallow while the standard jazz neck is described as deeps but still slim... ... ... ... so based on this, i would describe the geddy lee neck (and other necks of a similar style) to be shallow and slim, ridiculously easy to plsy - to the point other basses feel loaaaaaaaaaads weirder.
9. i had some old live rage videos, and he had an SWR rig like SJA says
10. i never ever give the soundguy a pre eq signal, i love my tone.
11. bump, i cant remember which recordings i had up when i posted this link, they might be the same ones or the ones we got done at our last gig.

So he might not get round to a speedy response, but he's been a busy boy! Not seen anything of the Doodle though when I've been down there recently
What have you seen down there? tell of the wonders

My Shuker build
That sounds well cool. Excuse my ignorance, but what will it actually do? On a side note, I've totally fallen in love with the shape you're going for, got a sweet idea for a short scale bass based on it, next year though, next year.... Cheers, Eude
When i hold down the button, it'll output noise - it has photoresistors attached and the brighter the light that shines into them; the higher the pitch.

a quick update, i'll be getting a light sensitive oscillator synth jobby built into the body of my bass, with controls on the lower horn.
I bought the wrong ones. i aint going to use them. i will post them second class and whoever wants them give something towards basschat. Dunlop Ultex Plectrums/picks, 1mm Heavy 12 pack . i wanted the big triangular ones but got these. my bad. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...N:IT&ih=012 yours for nowt.
I think i have loads of the tri ones about - i've pretty much changed to smaller picks so if i find them would you like them? and can i take these lovely lads off your hands?
20. these are the most comfortable necks ive ever played, my shuker build is having a neck with the same dimensions.
21. yeah, im really looking forward to it, getting it done with dual darkstar pickups.
22. i've got a shuker being built with the jet king body shape. i love the kind of vintage pawn shop vibe it gives off,
23.
It may be a daft idea, but you could put lines on with a felt tipped pen, and then decide whether you still need them a few months down the road.
would they wash off?
24. if only it had lines - i'd be all over that. an unlined fretless is hell can you get them lined?
