the back of my SVT II (non pro) is open and you can see/touch the valves, im going on tour in march and i was just wondering if there were any ways i can stop any accidents smashing all my valves, i cant afford a flightcase; so im thinking of some sort of home-brewed idea.

ok, all pm's replied to; forgot to mention the rack cases are the bag styles ones like this: ive always preferred them to the plastic ones and my gear has always been fine in them. pictures of everything coming tonight -

both in alright condition, bit of muck on them and a few scratches. the fx25 is green and sparkly.

Korg Microkorg (has one knob missing - you can still turn it using the shaft and i think i have the knob somewhere) - 170 quid also got two rack cases, one is warwick and the other is something else i'll need to check but one of them is 3U and deep and the other is 2U and shallow. 20 quid each

human gear animato -distortion/fuzz same as that muse bassist guy- 200 quid - sold pending payment korg microkorg synth - has a knob missing but you can turn the shaft - 170 quid aria FL-10 -vintage flanger- 35 quid Soundlab ABY AB-200 switch - 25 quid - really good aby switch with nice button spacing. Ibanez Bi Mode Phaser PH10 - 35 quid Diego Pedalboard Tourman, carpet on the tourman is a bit loose around a couple of corners inside, could stick it down if it bothers you, though it works fine still (glue or staples will stick it) 50 quid pictures coming soon, prices dont include p+p

roon get yourself an ampeg svt ii, i have the non pro model and its the loudest thing ever.

today at practice i noticed my jazz was sounding closer to the precision sound so i had a fiddle with the knobs, the bridge pickup was really really quiet when soloed whilst it used to be the same volume as the neck pickup. aout 3 hours into the practice the bridge pickup was back to normal. loose connection? only im recording on saturday and dont have time and/or money to take it in anywhere!!

yeah, it is "the one" as opposed to the forte version; ill have a think about prices and let you know.
