FOr the DHL money and the customs youll have to pay, get a ticket to zagreb with low budget airlines and get there yourself. I travel home via Zagreb or Ljubljana and its awesome. Im sure Dragan will take money off you if you were to pick it up and youd go there, stay the night and chill in the Balkans. They make nice coffee there.
nice idea - especially for the coffee! well, if someone wants it via DHL, price would be EUR 2300. but then you don't deal with customs - DHL delivers straight on your doorway. for the 2200 I'd ship it with regular post. from CRO it usually takes 7 days.
I am interested in this bass, but I'm nervous about shipping from Bosnia. Sorry - I know that's ridiculous to say, and if someone else said it I'd say that they were being stupid - but I AM nervous about it. Do you ever travel to England?
mate, I completely feel what are you saying. I also assume lots of people thinks your way too. However, it would be shipped from Croatia (if that feels more comfy haha! ) neverthless, you can contact Simon Merrick from Stuart Zender Forum and bassment, I dealed with him and he got my Lakland DJ in 24 hours via DHL. Check with Higgie (send him pm) and ask him about Dragan from stuart zender forum. Bosnia is far but we send and receive things and basses like any other country. Thank you for reading! cheers.
very pretty indeed. DO these come equipped with a mike pope pre?
yes. it has press button on the 1st pot as active/passive switch. http://www.fodera.com/nyc/standard.html thank you for the comments guys. yup, it's ultimate jazz bass for sure!
9. need cash as always, having great basses for sale,as always! have to split with this gorgeous bass. it plays like dream, those who touched Fodera knows how's that feels! Those guys knows how to build a bass. sounds so powerful, well rounded and balanced, I don't recall I heard such a tone, even from Celinder basses. I will answer all your questions. you got Fodera site for quick info on the NYC aswell. Price: 2200 euros, delivered. I am from Sarajevo,Bosnia but will be in Croatia in a few days with the bass for the rest of the year,so bass will be shipped from Croatia.
10. absolutely great looking bass! Sterlings are awesome basses - I had one and love IT!
11.
Bolane, to je jeftino za ovaj bass. Gde ti onaj Paul Jackson-ov bass? Pokusaj EBay
haha! can't believe I see another one here! yup, that's cheap, but people for some reason doesn't value Gibson basses high. and I have some GAS matters to take care of ! as for my Paul Jackson bass - it's gone.... and yea, EBay is probably the solution. thank you for your input!
12. bump! no one??? 600 euros?
13. here's some vintage candy for old cats and those who appreciate THUDness!!! The Ripper, made in USA ofcourse, '73-'74 - you know it's hard to tell with Gibsons, I can tell that from serial number L-9 S 157 339 ( but as been said, they aren't always accurate from what I heard ) so more accurate are these features: it's all maple (body and neck), 2 specific humbuckers for that time, neck is "glued" not bolted on- I am looking for 600 euros -delivered. one pot is missing, aswell as the plate on the headstock with "The Ripper" logo. I got old Fender gig bag within the bass. Fresh DR Marcus Miller strings. PM with your e-mail for more photos. Thanx!
14. hey people! got this great thing, and to tell you the truth - i like it, but there's lots of my basses and not enough money for new arrivals! yeah, there's one Hofner around here and couple of Gibsons at my hometown, but, if no one is interested I can live and very HAPPILY with this bass! I got nice hard case (not original) and it's stringed with new set of Marcus Miller DR 045-105 few days ago. (NOTE: those strings on the pictures are old ones came with the bass) Sounds BIG,huge bottom, rich, sustained. I prefere that front humbucker - really, really FAT! there's something I want to point out: The previous owner (original owner who bought the bass in UK back in 1986 ) did something "very smart" - he defretted the bass and after that he fretted it again, so you can feel it needs some dressing - nothing which impair the sound and playability tho, but I want to play fair 100%. Therefore I would trim the price down to 900 euros - DELIVERED in 24h via DHL. Please PM me for any questions and references you might need. Thanks for looking! Dragan
15. lots of great photos there! thank you! cheers!
16. I am rather confused at the end of the day now...roadie 1 roadie 2 ? you have pics up above on the start. I wouldnt say at all that my bass is roadie 1
17. thanks mate! 450-600 sounds kinda I'd rather keep the bass!
18. no,sure,I know theres lots of JDEEs... I didnt put this photo in fact in 1st post, which would probably helps. it is probably Roadie (I saw one,the same, on talkbass....) do you know what would be the price for this nowadays? I am not saying I am selling (true, had few interesting offers and trades...arghhhh!!!!)
19.
The Roadie was a type of Supernatural.
and now you're smart??? hahaha! joke! OK,my mistake, I thought it was Supernaturals, Roadie and Mking series with that similar shape.... thanx!
20. any trades? (probably not as you want to reduce your arsenal,but,still...)
21.
If I'm not mistaken, that bass is a Roadie II Active - pretty much identical to a Mark King model but with a black headstock facing and no DI. Nothing that makes a jot of difference to the sound really.
it's supernatural,not roadie ll active
22.
I find my Sadowsky Metro J5 incredibly bright, so I wonder what the Celinder is like in comparison!
I played Cel Jbass with rosewood fingerboard, active,5 strings. Bright? no way! it was smooth, responsive, fast, fat and pleasure to play. When I got it in my hands before even put any note, I thought: "God,this is worth every DIME of it's price!"
23. similar thing with my bass, in fact at "active"mode the EQ pots jumps in action, so it works like you turn the EQ on (or off).
24. thank you mate very much indeed! those are the controls, right like that! yup, I was also checkin Jdee site and there's no serial numbers database anymore... all I know the original owner bought it in UK store back in 1986. THANX again!
