1. I played a wedding once where the noise meter had been set to specifically cut power if low frequencies were loud. It had a little (locked) switch on it that chose the frequency & it was bang in the middle of a decent bass tone. The thing that really annoyed me was that the only house in a 5 mile radius of the barn we were playing in was owned by the guy who leased the venue out for weddings! i've also played at a venue with a meter that tripped if anyone opened a window or the french doors onto the lovely garden. Luckily our guitarist didn't have his all valve head with him that, warm summer, night. . .
2.
Zak Starkey most likely.
That's the one - knew he was someone's (a drummer) son, lol.
3. It's no use - with all this Who chat I've had to put the album on Reallyinteresting stuff about Keith Moon, to me The Who simply aren't The Who without Moony on drums. I love his playing on Quadrophenia! I also agree about Pino not really working in this context. I saw them at the first gig after Townsend's grief with the media a few years back. He was on fire and thrashing away at his guitar like a teenager again, Daltrey was his usual showman self but Pino was kinda anonymous (and not in that way Entwhistle had with so much sheer presence on stage). I have to own up that I can't remember a thing about the drummer - must have left a big impression on me! Jason Bonham maybe?
4.
One of my all time favourite LP's, it's played from front to back on long car journeys.
I've done this as well It's one of the few albums I still have on original vinyl & CD (plus downloaded on my iPod).
5. Not sure exactly when it was on but must have been sometime in the last three weeks. One of my favourite albums and I really enjoyed the doc. Not a great deal of Entwhistle content but some fascinating stuff about the creation and recording of the material
6. I've played one and thought it was really versatile and had a lot of useful tones quickly available simply by jabbing a button Balance wasn't great though and values plummet like crazy for used ones
7. I ordered some stuff from them and they sent the wrong things and then proceeded not to respond when I complained. I wrote to the USA who told me to return them and they'd make sure my money was refunded. I then ordered the same parts direct from the US and they turned up, correctly, very quickly and cost less!
8. That looks nicely 'worn in' is it all original?
9. Received a bass from Mick this week. Immaculately packed and in perfect condition. He was really helpful in removing the bass from sale despite the fact I was on holiday and unable to pay him until I returned. Great communications throughout as well - thoroughly nice bloke all round!

11.
I was there. What a great night. I took the kids and they loved it too.
I could only get a single ticket so went on my own - was surrounded by celebs everywhere you looked though, Paul Weller & Elvis Costello were sitting near me & both, Weller in particular, were cheering away all evening. Someone needs to put a 'Babbitt's Greatest tunes' playlist on Spotify as a tribute tot he great man.
12. I saw the Funk Brothers show when they came to the RFH and Bob looked so cool just sitting on his stool grooving away - every now & then he'd drag himself to his feet & you could see the band's admiration for him & the audience gave him great applause. Another truly unsung great for many years but at least he got some recognition more recently. Definitely one who'll be sadly missed
13.
Any chance of a pic of the Wes Steed Herbie Flowers j bass?
Build diary is here - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/117779-herbie-flowers-jazz-bass-replica/page__hl__herbie%20flowers next phase almost complete
