  1. Check for yourself. I thought it was longer and more mutations ago I posted an update on my board btw.
  2. It is a very nice Bass VI for the price, good pickups and very well built, only thing I didn't like were the stock strings.
  3. Okay, I'll bite! My DIY builds. A few I bought. And few DIY oddballs, but with at least 6 strings. 😉 And yes... they are lefties.
  4. Without has a lot of influence on the colour! 😛 But besides that... without looks better.
  5. I've seen several lefty's come by on several bass forums and the only minor issue they all have is that the strings don't align neatly over all four pickup polepieces (the spacing between the polepieces is less than the string spacing) however if the strings align centered over the pickup it doesn't influence the sound at all.
  6. I put a set of flatwound strings on it and it has become one of my favourite 4 string basses. As I understand it from the information that is going round the wrong spaced bridge was/is only found on right handed versions of the PB-50.
  7. Lot's of lefty basses in a limited space. This picture was a experiment with a extreme wide angle lens, just to see if I could make a acceptable picture with all the distortion going on, not a bad result I think.
  8. The replacement is in. Everything works okay on this one.
  9. Yup it's heavy, there are two power bricks underneath as well. It's only used for having fun at home.
  10. Changes. One new pedal, retired two others, reinstated an old one and moved a few around. Also replaced most of the EBS patch cables with the newer version EBS patch cable. Had some problems with bad contact at several positions in the chain a few months ago. Hopefully the new version will behave better, they have gold plated plugs so should be more reliable than the older nickel plated plugs.
  11. Judging by the (imperial) ruler, M3x10. 1" = 25.4 millimeters.
  12. If you get a good one, absolutely.
  13. And it's going back to the store again, was going to finetune the action only to discover the truss rod nut was stripped. No finetuning, no bass!
  14. I keep them all. 😀 I don't consider them a collection, they all have their different characteristics and sound possibility's and all get played, a few get more play time than others but I keep them as players. Lefty's are a sort of rare beasts so if I run into one I like for a price I'm willing to spend on it I just buy it, you might never see one like it again!
  15. Another new acquisition Sire Marcus Miller M2. Dirt cheap bass with a 35" scale!
  16. Lefty Harley Benton Fiesta Red PB-50, ordered one eight months ago right after it was announced, today it finally arrived!
  17. Guess what? A few new pedals. Boss overdrive replaced by a EQD Westwood, EH Canyon (was used as a shimmer) replaced by a TC electronic Fluorescence shimmer reverb. Canyon moved to after the Boss reverb as a clean delay. Moved around a few things on the secondary board, no changes to the chain after the Canyon.
  18. Spectracomp is rated at 100 mA, most Mooer pedals are 100+ mA! When most pedals are powered and fully plugged they will draw power.
  19. I've had this clicking happening with several Mooer pedals, after some experimenting I found out this happened when they were underpowered either with a (shared) daisy chain or with a power-supply with not enough power, attached to power-supply with sufficient power it's gone.
  20. Added fret lines to my Black Beast. Not especially for exact intonation but for ease of playing. For me a fretless with lines is just more relaxed to play.
