1. Thanks neepheid..I've screwed down the front to level it
2. Thanks. Before you posted, I decided to level all 3 and to place them as low as I could so I tweaked the trussrod again. Seems good now but it does suck but not as much as my Hofner Ignition Bass :-D
3. Guys, how do you adjust an Epi 3 point bridge properly and in particular what is the middle screw for? All strings were hitting frets so I raised all 3 after loosening the truss rod .... Sounds ok now but the action is a bit high especially on the G and when you look down to the bridge it's lopsided now with the G much higher :-0

5. ..perhaps not the best of names for a Bass then ... but I guess you could get the Little Bastard Amp to go with it but it might not go down too well on a Beeb interview if asked what kit you've got
6. ooooo GAS. It sounds great. Damn it, I was decided until today, just 1 more Bass after the Epi Thunderbird Classic IV Pro arriving Saturday.... Just got to think of some good excuses... Saturday is : Well I'm going on a BIMM Metal Summer Course so I need a metal bass ; the next one for a Warwick Star Bass is: I want to play in a Blues Band so thats the look I need.... hmmm what about the P though..I can't say I just need a pee as I've got 2 Ps.... it'll have to be All I want for Christmas is a Cabronita or maybe...... I wanted a bottle of Corona but the shop assistant made a mistake .... anyway I've got to Christmas to come up with a wheeze
7. Wooah GAS Sounds great on a Fender Rumble Combo maybe. Could sound much better on another Amp? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH9u9aOOiNM#action=share
8. No cant tell her as I'll have to tell her about the 4 bass books arriving and the strap plus I've just told her she's got a speeding ticket in the post :-D
9. What's just as annoying is ordering a Bass for delivery next Saturday when the wife is supposed to be working and her boss changes her shift so she'll be there when it arrives. I guess I'll have to tell her about it when it arrives :-D
10. I'll let you know when my " Band" gets itself a singer ; the other 2 Band Members stop farting around practising with others behind my back; do the other 8 songs on the set list they said they knew .......... Or I find myself a new Band in the meantime :-) PS I was right, the guitard is a dork :-(. Wears tin helmet this time and hides again in the corner :-D

12. Deusenberg have confirmed on FB it is a 34 and their spec is wrong..I've posted about the 3 pick ups
13. Like both BigRedX but fancy a double F hole, 34 long scale Don't like my Hofner Ignition short scale much..... might flog it
14. I did wonder what Bass Peter Hook had. I'll have to put that on the back burner as it is likely to be mucha wonga
15. Oh yeah Also you can see the pick-up wires which isn't a good look Tried a Jack Casady today which I quite liked but it needed setting up..alot of metallic clacking. Tried a Kay Bass as well.... sounded good but no where for the thumb except a very very thin pick-up near the neck. Tried the black one but Cranes Cardiff had the range. Not for me...... got GAS for the flamed maple Warwick now http://www.kaybassguitar.com
16.
Warwick Starbass II?
Wooah, GAS Saw some for £1200 but Thomann about £900. Took a look at some Andy Irvine utubes GAS for the blue and the Sunburst. They sound good I think on the front pick up... with flats as well
17. That is odd... 30.3 but the home page says its their only long scale bass?? I'm after a 34 inch semi-hollow..oh well, back to Gibson, Gretsch and Epiphone then
18. Check out this new long scale bass, the Motown http://duesenberg.de/en/basses/motown-bass.html
19. Ace Deb ... if you book the train about 3 months in advance you might get a return for about £25 or a bit more. Fulham travelodge within walking distance say £32. Early bird weekend tickets before 1 September £30. I got the 11am train back this time but it'll be about 8pm next time :-)
20. Dates confirmed. I'm going to catch a later train back next year and do both dates. Awesome :-)
21. I do lots of different stuff... Lessons, books, utube, Scott , did a rockschool grade, play a set list , some band practice, counting to songs in the car, book cd and headphones on holiday, polish the bass, finger movements on the bass, read some theory, do scales arpeggios and 1/2and 4 finger position variations, now doing stuff on a 5 string over 2 octaves, GAS , Bass Bash, always buying bass books with CDs, one day I might do blues riffs, then rock, then country or some African stuff from some books that have unusual bass examples.... ...if I can't be arsed to handle the bass I'll just read and listen to riffs etc... If I can't be arsed to do that I'll play something on the bass....if I can't be bothered to play ill do finger exercises I'm no expert but for me its just doing some kind of bass related thing when I can :-)... It's all practice and knowledge I've improved lately apparently :-)
22. Yep, just had a listen..GOOD LUCK
23. I'm not sure it is a triplet Deb. in the rock books I'm using the gallop is an eighth note followed by 2 sixteenths...try that with two fingers :-)
