2. Bassist urgently required to fill my welly's for the Andy Robinson Band, playing anything between 4 and 8 gigs per month and usually paying around £50-£70 per gig. Playing classic rock and blues tracks like Hendrix, Bad Company, Stones, Led Zep and loads more, and most gigs are Friday/Saturday nights, but there are a few here and there midweek. Mainly playing in Norfolk and Suffolk, with the occasional gig in Essex but not usually much further. Both Andy and the drummer Ian are great easy going guys and the gigs are generally well received, playing mainly pubs and clubs. Please call Andy on 07801 235153, cheers y'all!
 3. Really tempted to this but I already have the CD-BT1.... Can I justify buying this to myself....?... Just in case my one craps out on me.....mmm.... Have a bump on me good sir!

 7.
Would you be interested in a trade for a set of D'Addario Chromes (Flatwounds) ECB80SL Set Super Long Scale 40-95? I'm going the other direction from you, having loved light gauge strings for years, I'm now loving heavier strings.
Cheers for the offer amigo, but flats just 'aint my thang. Thanks anyway though To be honest I just don't like the tone of Elites, they sound a little too "brittle" for my liking, not a very nice bass response to my ears, and I just hate the feel of Roto's. They sound ok, but they feel like your playing a rusty cheese grater to me. And they seem to die waaaay too quickly for the price.
 8. After recently spending some time testing out how I feel with lighter gauge strings, I've decided that they're for me so i'm flogging off some sets of standards so I can buy some lighter ones. All are obviously brand new and unopened. All prices include P+P, and would possibly trade for any decent brand of light-ish gauge strings (except Elites or Rotosounds.) D'Addario XL Coated, .50/.70/.85/105 (Officially titled EXP160's) 3x sets of, £14. 9. Couldn't agree more withy the statements above, top bloke and lovely cable type goodness. And he lives at the end of a graveyard, which makes him and his lady double hard bastards. Cheers amigo!
 10. Right, I bought this thinking it would be cool but then realised it won't fit my Blackberry phone, and really can't be arsed to go back to south London to get a refund. Essentially what it is is a headset to be used to join your iPod/MP3 player and your phone together, so that you can listen to music and then also use the same headset to make hands-free calls. The gumf on the back of the box says it better..... I'm pretty sure its the right jack for Nokia phones (as the picture on the front of the box shows.) As I haven't taken them out of the box then i'm not positive, but I think you can also just use them as either headphones or as a hands-free headset individually. I'm thinking that £12 posted sounds fair, but feel free to make offers of whatever you might have in mind.... Cheers!
 11. Righty-ho, what we have here for sale is the much revered Ashdown Envelope Filter pedal. I bought this off a lovely BC dude a few months ago, and as much as I like it I only really use my Digi BSW pedal, so this might as well go to a new home. These pedals got rave reviews when they appeared in the pages of Bassist magazine and they got something like 91/100 from (I think) Stuart Clayton. I'd best describe the sounds available as subtle but effective. The bad side of this is that they're only really meant for passive basses (damn you Ashdown) and that the VU needle-meter thingy at the top don't light up. And a few patches of paintworks a bit scabby, as you the pictures show. But it still works fine, so lets call it £26 posted (because these things weigh a bloody ton and the postage is gonna be a bugger.) PayPal or Bank Transfer please, Cheers y'all!
 12.
You're ex-teammates are probably sorted by now but as I've only just joined this forum looking for a Band please let them know if they still want a Bass Player. Sadly, I'm within the age range quoted. Been gigging for about 23 years but nothing much recently (everyone else seems to have other musical committments, don't they? Let us know - Cheers, James.

Hi BassJase Are you still lookin@. I am based in the area and interested in applying. Pro gear, own transport and planty of live experience Get back to me either way Funxter
Sorry boys, they found someone pretty much straight away after I left, which was nearly a year ago now! Cheers for the interest anyway though fellas.

 15.
How about a straight swap for a brand new unopened Korg Pitchblack+?? http://www.korg.com/Product.aspx?pd=419 D.
Looks like its going to this fine gentleman, cheers mate! And many thanks to the other interested parties, sorry chaps but its found a new home now. Thanks again though
 16. Silly me forgot to mention that it comes with its original box and instructions, and I can even put the rubber feet back on if you'd so wish!
 17.
Most hilariously honest 'reason for sale' EVER. We need more of these. Take a bow!
Cheers fella! They say honesty is the best policy and all that rubbish. PM's replied to now but its still available, gonna put it on EvilBay but still open to offers here.... Cheers!
 18. Any chance of a couple of jack to speakon speaker cables? I'd much rather buy from someone on here than the dreaded eVilbay.....
 19.
Trade for a Korg DTR-2 rack tuner? Let me know. Cheers
Cheers for the offer amigo, but i've realised that I really do need a decent floor tuner as opposed to anothe rack jobby, thanks anyway though... Price wise, i'm really not sure what to ask. S/H Strobo 1's go for around £70/80ish, and i'm watching a Strobo 2 on Evil bay now and its sat at £90 with over another day to go. I'm guessing that around £80 is fair, so considering the going-rate prices of other S/H pedal tuners the cash adjustment would go something like.... Boss TU2 (go for around £35 S/H) so add £45-ish... Korg DT-10 (go for around £35/40 S/H) so add £40/45-ish... Although obviously this is dependant on the condition and current market prices. I just missed out on a TU2 on Gumtree the other day that was "as-new" and went for £18......! Cheers for thie interest though everyone. I keep getting told to stick with it and give it more of a chance, so strike while the irons hot!
 20. Gone! To the man with the black and white scratchplate. Cheers y'all....
