1. Yes, all the white is reflection.
2. Hi guys. I am selling my TC Electronic Triple-C rack compressor. It is a super versatile compressor, but is much too versatile for me. I am selling it and am planning on buying a much simpler pedal compressor. It is in good condition. I bought this compressor used about 6 months ago from a local shop. It has three modes of operation - multi-band, full-band and envelope compression. It has all of the controls that you need, as well as the ability to save a recall presets. It has a lovely screen which has lights that move around and tell you things. It looks very impressive when installed in your rack. This is the stereo model. Sorry I can't tell you more about it, but I don't really understand it. Please PM me if there is anything that I might be able to help you with. The Warwick amp and Peavey preamp are not for sale.
3. Hi, I have for sale my Peavey Max Bass Preamp. I bought it from the classifieds here a couple of years ago, and it has lived in my rack since. It is a great sounding preamp, but I have changed my setup around and no longer need it. It has been gigged a few times but is still in great condition. It has two channels, a valve and a solid state. The valve side has a 3 band eq, while the solid side has a 7 band eq. You can use the channels separately, or you can blend them together. The valve side can get a nice subtle tube overdrive sound. It has a built in crossover which I have used for running a guitar amp to push the top end of my distortion pedals. It also has footswitch capabilities for the channel switching, but I don't own the footswitch and I'm not sure what sort you would need. If you want to know anything else, please don't hesitate to send me a PM. Cash on collection preferred, or shipping can be arranged at the buyers expense. The Warwick amp is NOT for sale. The compressor is listed in the effects section.
4. All offers considered! As stated in the title, an Epiphone Thunderbird in Limited Edition Metallic Red. I bought this bass new from Thomann in December 2009. It has had light home use, and has been gigged a maximum of 3 times. It is in nice condition - a couple of small dings and some very light buckle rash, and the scratchplate is slightly yellowed. It has spent most of its time in a Ritter soft case which will be included in the sale. I have replaced the tone control with an on/off switch, as I couldn't get used to having two volume controls and I never used the tone control. I still have the original pot and knob which will stay with the bass so if you want to change it back to stock then it isn't a problem. It is also currently fitted with Schaller straplocks which I am happy to throw in for an extra £5. Alternatively I have the original strap buttons which I can fit for you. Cash on collection preferred. Shipping can be arranged at the buyer's expense. Would be interested in trades for a Warwick Streamer LX 5. I also have a Corvette Standard 5 that I would be willing to part with.
5. Also interested. Can I get second in line?
6. PMed
7. Would you be interested in any trades or are you just looking for cash?
8. I will give you 50p for the Corvette.
9. Circle, Secret Chiefs 3, a.P.A.t.T, Trojan Horse, Charlie Barnes Islington Mill, 20th of October. Tickets are £10 from www.fatout.co.uk
10. £150,000 seems a bit steep to me.
11. Hi Possibly interested in the head. Could you hold off ebay-ing it for a couple of days while I do some negotiating amd work out whether I can fit it into this month's budget? Cheers
12. Can anyone help me out with who the bassist is?
13. Has this sold or is it still here?
14. Yeah, that was me! Glad you've enjoyed them.
15. I've posted this on TalkBass, but thought that I'd throw it in here for those who don't frequent both forums. I began a project a little while ago to transcribe every Muse bass part that I could get my hands on. There were two reasons behind this. 1) I personally much prefer real music to tabs. 2) 99% of the tabs on the internet are incorrect and/or incomplete and/or not detailed enough. With this, I am aiming to be as accurate and complete as I can be. So far I have completed two albums. Here are links to all of the pdfs that I have available at the moment. Let me know if you find them useful, or if you spot any mistakes. 16. My band, Charlie Barnes and the Geekks are headlining (AFAIK) at Saki Bar in Manchester on Wednesday night, with Black Market Serotonin, Unconcious Jungle, Johnny Gwynn & Easy Tyger, and Mr Sportsman. Starts at 8pm, £4 on the door or £3 with a flyer. Free copy of Unconcious Jungle's EP on entry (until they run out...). Apparently drinks are pretty cheap as well. Should be a good night, so pop down and say hi!
17. My band have just released an album called Geekk. There's a link to our Myspace in my sig, where you can hear some of the tracks, and there are links from there to purchase the album if you are so inclined. I think it's excellent, and all of the reviews and comments have been very positive so far! Hope some of you enjoy it as well.
18.
Velcro? It's just a rip-off! BB That joke was brought to you by the publishers if this weeks Radio Times (Still only £1.10)
I think I died a little inside.
19.
it took an in human effort to get my Morley Bass Wah off the pedalboard.
My FM-4 broke last weekend, and I wanted to take it off the board to have a go at fixing it. Foolishly, I had covered the entire back of the pedal with velcro, and when I tried to get it off, I couldn't. It honestly took me 5 minutes to pull it off, and in the end the velcro pulled off the back of the pedal and stayed attached to the board, and I ended up with the pedal in my hand. Quite strong stuff. I can pick up my board and then turn it upside down and shake, and everything stays firmly stuck to the board.
20. I use the Velcro brand Heavy Duty Velcro. Cost me about £25 for 5 metres, and works great. The only pedal I had any trouble with getting the Velcro to stick was with my Digitech Bass Synth Wah, but I pulled off the rubber backing and stuck it straight onto the metal and it is fine now.
21.
My intention was to replace my 410 and keep my rack amp. Would possibly look at installing side handles if I had to.
Turn the cab on its side?
22. Is this the rackmountable version, or is it the head version that has been built into a rack case?
23. I badly wish that I had a spare £200. Or any spare money at all, in fact...
24. Added album artwork (see avatar/Myspace link in sig) to the outside of my board case. It isn't perfect yet - needs some touching up, but it's a good start.
