1.
I GAS'd for a Warwick Thumb for many years before I actually bought my Thumb bolt-on and it was everything I'd wished for. Will take it to my grave.
This, essentially It's odd, no other bass has lived up to my expectations as much as the thumb. It balances poorly and it makes my shoulders hurt after I play it for a long time but I honestly couldn't care less; it's fantastic!
2.
All I can really do is amend the description accordingly (how I don't know??!)
Hi, you can amend your first post by going to it and clicking the "edit" button at the bottom. "Quick edit" if you want to just change what's said in it and "full edit" if you want to change the title of the thread or use the full editor. Might be a good idea to amend it with the new price too Good luck with the sale!
3. I was having sound issues with my '79 Ray and it turned out to be the battery dying... worst thing is I'm pretty sure I've done this twice now.
4. Love Warwicks, doesn't matter what else I play I always end up going back to them
5. It is indeedy, I think i saw the Swedish owner put it up for sale on Arni's site a couple of months back- odd that it's now for sale again so quickly.

7. Awesome dog and nice collection Really like the headstock on the P lyte
8. Stingray no longer for sale as my finances have imprived somewhat
9. Wouldn't call myself an expert but I'd say about £600, maybe a tad more.
10.
£1200-£1300
Thanks man! Hmm I thought it might be worth a tad more but that was close to my valuation. I was thinking more around £1400, especially considering the rarity of lefties. Here's a few pics: EDIT: No longer for sale, see below.
11. Hi guys. Pains to to do this but I may have to sell my 1979 Pre-EB Ray. Its in really good condition, only a few dings and none of them major. The E tuner was replaced a while ago with a d-tuner but apart from that it's all original- even has the dying remains of the bridge mutes! I was wondering if any of you could help me in thinking of a price? Josh
12. Love Warwick. Really miss my first Streamer Jazzman, but now have a Thumb BO which is simply fantastic. The thing I love about Warwick is that the tones from the amazing growl (beats any Jazz IMO) to the upper registers feel really organic. It's supposed to just be marketing but I personally can really hear "the sound of wood"
13. As title, Sansamp BDDI for trade for an M80. Bit of a longshot but worth a go Going by the amount these pedals sell for the BDDI seems to be worth about a tenner more but I'm looking for a straight trade in order to entice a deal. Nowt wrong with pedal, comes with slightly battered box and has had the little rubber feet taken off and velcro applied instead which obviously isn't a massive issue. Pics when I get back from band practice tonight.
14. Only had this for about 6 months, Ampeg BSE 4x10 HLF cab, like the B series but is the BSE range meaning (as I understand it) upgraded drivers in the cab. I can attest to its great sound, however I'm now looking for a more mid-heavy cab. This cab has a massive arse end, it's ridiculous. Even if I wanted to add another cab I certainly wouldn't add a 1x15 as it just doesn't need it. This is 4Ohms and (I believe) 400w- I will check this on Monday when I go to my practice room. New it was around £500 but I'm wanting a quick sale. Considering its only 6 months old and in good condition, I'd say about [s]£300[/s] [s]£275[/s] [s]£250[/s] [s]£225[/s] SOLD. One slight niggle with this cab is that the castors come out pretty easily and are prone to drop out if you lift the cab. Don't know how big an issue this is but to be honest picking the castors up again is a minor inconvenience even if you're moving the cab quite regularly. Pickup only please, I don't want to post the cab really as I have no idea how to package them.
15. Traded a Zoot (probs worth maybe 800-1000) for my pre-EB Stingray. Gotta love the Dutch!
16. £600?!? That's insane! Even with the cost of stripping off the paint this is mega cheap for a 5string NT! Wish it was lefty
17.
Hi! I've been interested in this as well, not heard any clips or anything yet though, so I guess I've just been waiting for that. Big fan of Tech 21's pedals in general though. What else is it that you've tried that it's so different from? Also, Kent, nice one
Yay for youtube
18.
Lovin' that Doc J, Well done!
The J is for Jenius Seriously though, good job, now I want one!
19. I voted 002 due to the slightly better bass handling imo. It was definitely my favorite whichever it was
20. Hey guys, bought this maybe 7 months ago with the intention of learning guitar alongside bass but I think bass is my true love Really nice guitar but its just sat about doing nothing, here's a video review of the same model online so you can get a taste, this guy can describe it way better than I can: Restrung it relatively recently too so sounding lubberly Looking for [s]£250[/s] £200
