Hello, I try and practise as much as i can and I play regularly as well. I'v taken on a full time job and my hrs to practise have been greatly diminished. I am looking for the most effective exercises in developing rhythm and timing (tempo). The best exercise I've found is to play a song I know at say 100bpm, then 50 and 25. This has been excellent and I highly recomend it for tempo exercises. If any one can post links or give advise on how to achieve (as close to as possible) perfect rhythm, you would forever be my funk brother Peace n Love

Hi, I've been considering getting a eden WTB 700 with a Hartke Hydrive 4x10. Sharp tones from slaps and heavy low end as I play a five string. I felt it was the metal / paper cones so I thought about using them with Eden who have the controls I like. I would be very grateful for any advice on the whole thing.

I am looking to get a new bass and Warwick seems to be the brand I want. Can't seem to find a shop with all three so that I could play each one. These guitars are over £1000 do I need to make the right choice. Could someone please tell me wha the differences are in the guitars. I play in an alt hip hop band which uses rock, reggae, funk and I use finger style n slap as well. I would be very grateful for any advice please.

Hello all, I'm Lawrence and I play an 5-string SG by Ibanez, love it. It nice sound but it was £350 8yrs ago. My guitarist has lent me a good Fender precision. I sometimes use a boss wah pedal for distorion and extra porno feel. My amp is a STV series Ampeg combo, valve. I swear by ampeg whose tone is for me all the way. I'm looking to mod my guitar or get a new one. Been looking at pick-ups in particular. I play in a cross genre hip hop, funk rock latin jazz(?) band and a DnB band as well. any comments, or if you want to start a post on pick-ups and give me a link, I'm keen to know more.
