My word thats a good looking bass!

I have two lefty ACG's with a third on the way. I don't believe there is an upcharge for left handed but best to check with Alan. I love ACG basses and have been using them exclusively for the past 4 years. Both my current basses sound different as they have very different options. I also had a graft for a while which was a great bass too. Both of mine plus my new one will be at the bash if you do manage to get over. I can recomend ACG basses without hesitation and they are on par with any other bass I have played.

Hi DanR sorry. I just saw this. Last i heard Alan was about to do my fret lines. no further updates at the minutes. I do have a picture of the roughed out body which i should really add to the thread.

Quick update. Heard back from Aguilar who think the crossover has just gone. I have took the head in for a service anyway.

Cheers dude. I have emailed Aguilar but i am expecting them to say the same.

So by the sound of what you guys are saying the fault could be with the amp and not just that the cab burned out through wear and tear? that is bad news. After my cab died we tried the amp through a Ashdown cab and it seemed fine. I think i will email Aguilar but i will take the head in to be checked as well as having the cab repaired.

Cheers for the help guys. I Think I played a few notes (literally) then smelled the burning smell.

So at practice tonight I seem to have burned out my Aguilar GS410. I was using it with an Aguilar AG500 head and a DB115. Same setup I've been using for months. As soon as I turned the amp on there was a smell of burning plastic and some smoke came out the vents. I will take it in for repair but anyone got a likely diagnosis?

It is improved by an out board pre for sure so that's an option. No videos but if it dosnt sell this listing I may make one.

As said above the 6 string is mine. I have priced it at what I think is fair as I think it would really benefit from a preamp being added. Also I got it in the original bass offer so I don't feel comfortable asking more. It is a niche product for sure so we will see. I hope it sells as it's a good bass and I need to buy more bass stuff .
