  1. I use a jamhub for rehearsals and have used it for monitor mixes live using modified stereo cables and the inserts on each channel on the desk. Great bit of kit and if you already have the isolation headphones, drum mics into a small mixer for drums or electronic drums, low wattage guitar amps that the 'sweet spot' isn't at 120db with a good quality mic in front or palmer speaker sim for each guitarist or a modeling amp as well as in ears. It's not a cheap way of doing things and you probably won't need all of it but it'd really help
  2. Which aeroplane parts is he after? I have a whole stock for just this occasion

  4. I've run two combos at gigs. Works well and leaves lots of room for really full tones with the added plus of being able to add effects or distortion where they'll be heard and not mess up a clean low end. The sound men that i've used a bi amp rig with didn't really mind as we only had one guitarist at the time

  7. I'm looking to trade my Hipshot B 5 string bridge in chrome for a Schaller or Badass 5 string bridge with cash addition where needed. I'll take pictures if anyone wants them
  8. Yup, still here. I have two, one needs reconing but the other is in perfect working order
  9. £500 would get you a good quality copy that is easier on the wallet when it gets stolen or scratched and can be made to not only look the same but sound it as with a lot of MIJ copies
  10. Would you be interested in a '74 faker? Seymour Duncan/hipshot upgrade parts and Ric wiring. Message me for pictures
  11. Interested in a '74 Ibanez with Seymour Duncan/Hipshot Ric parts? Message me for pictures
  12. It's the headstock shape and truss rod cover shape that are trade marked but also any reference to Rickenbacker at all isn't allowed. I've been looking at putting my Ibanez back up just as a '74 Ibanez with only body shots
  13. I've got a black faced bassman 100. Loud as hell because of the overwound transformers and the increased gain from being blackfaced means that it keeps up with anything. Message me if you're interested, i'm not thinking my bassman is worth £1000
  14. Ad pulled from gumtree again. Music Radar ad pulled and banned me for life, bit extreme
  15. Shame you're not after a '74 ibanez faker as i don't use/own amps under 18kgs
  16. I already had the first ad pulled, which oddly appeared on a gumtree ad on facebook but my current one hasn't got the R word anywhere. Looking at pictures of 60's models mine has all the same details like the binding, fret marker material and thumb rest but high gain 70s pickups which oddly enough have a fuller tone which for a copy is very odd.
  17. I think it's modeled after a 60's model because of the thumb rest
  18. Just the one truss rod, i can send you some detailed pictures with all the bits that would get the ad pulled
  19. Just had my faker ad pulled by gumtree
  20. I might be looking at selling my faker in a few weeks depending on something white and or 70's coming up
  21. I've got a Peavey 2x15 made in USA from '78 with the original black widows if you're interested, i'll even throw in some cash to sweeten the deal
  22. I'm all for DI and or preamp as it works for everything but given the number of modeling amps coming onto the market it seems strange that no one is using them in the bass world. Can't really say i'm a fan of modeling myself but it has started to be used by a lot more people.
