You'd probably need to be Freddie Krueger to make scratches like that on the pickguard. I suspect it still has the peel-off protective film in place and the actual pickguard underneath is okay.

Between now and the new year I'd better stock up on anything I might want, as I plan on kidding myself I can abstain from buying any new gear in 2023.

In recent JHS video, there was a blind shootout between Josh Scott's original Klon and a £23 mini Mosky clone. in the admitedly unscientific test, the cheapy was deemed the better sounding pedal. I have the mosky on my guitar board and it certainly sounds good enough to me.
