  1. Hello Mike. Welcome to the forum. Totally agree with the comment from The Greek above. If you are practising, there's no need for huge volume and getting your neighbours on-board is never a bad idea. I'd go for low volume and no more than 1 hour amplified per day at a 'sensible' time, remembering those on nightshift, raising sprogs, etc. Let folks know where you are based in the country and some kind soul might even meet up with you to discuss bass/amp options, prices and such-like. Whatever you decide, best wishes in your new bass-centric life. Snorks
  2. Certainly should be. I don't know the width of your 6 string neck, but it takes my Overwater 6 no problem. Snorks
  3. Santana, McLaughlin, Corea, Shorter, Hancock on Sky Arts right now.

  14. '66 - '76 for me folks. Still had my own teeth, hair, and knees. Two decent eyes which worked and that was also the last decade I could hear across the normal human range without hissing, squealing racket blanketing everything. Ah, time waits for no man ... ... "Nurse! I think I've done it again! Nurse!"
  15. I see what you did there Nilorius - "shoo -rly" : barefeet, shoo (rly). Oh, never mind then. 🙂
  16. Hello, good morning and welcome. 😁
  17. CSN&Y used to specify that any stage they played on, had to have a hand-woven Persian rug placed for them to stand on. I seem to recall that Nash used to perform in barefoot-mode.
  18. Severus Septimius Rotten?
  19. I think I said something like that. 😫 😁
  20. So nice. Not usually a Precision fan, but this looks the dog's. GLWTS
  21. Played barefoot for around four years back in the 70s. Stopped after some kind soul in the audience decided to lob a pint tumbler at my feet one night. Damn thing actually got stuck in my foot - not pleasant at all. So now, tootsies are well covered.
  22. Excellent. Every day is a school day on the old Basschat. Thank you for sharing. 👍
  23. Have a free bumpity-bump as it's a sunny day and the Byrds give me sunny-day connotations. 😁
  24. There's a Man on the Line - Chris de Burgh
