1.
Hi. Is shipping to the Netherlands possible? Thanks, Marco
I would rather not to be honest marco, but if you know any good couriers I'm sure it could be arranged. I don't know how much this would cost though?
2. Wish I had the cash right now as she's a beaut!
3. Up for sale is my rare Warwick Corvette Taranis. I have this little puppy for about 6 years now but it just isn't getting played anymore due to the fact I no longer play tech metal in drop tuning. The bass used to be played in C Standard but is currently set up for Drop C with a custom set of D'Addario Nickel Wounds (.145, .090, .070, .050). Standard factory set up was B E A D as the bass is pretty much designed to be like a 5 string without the G string (for those who simply don't use it) and therefore the bass sits really well in lower tunings. The bass has passive MEC MM and SC pickups which deliver a gutteral tone that is both in your face and present in the mix and performs perfectly in both a studio and a live environment. Additionally the swamp ash body is lightly sandblasted to remove the softest parts of the wood. This process creates a killer texture and appearance that highlights the grain. You have to see it in person to appreciate the visual impact of this unique Warwick finish. As the bass has been regularly gigged in the past, there is a little belt buckle rash on the back and a little wear over the back pickup (pictured). Looking for a cash essentially but will consider trades. Also looking for either a Fender bass VI or a G&L L-2000 Cheers
4. This is a beauty and a bargain!
5. Has anybody out there got a photo of the inside of a warwick corvette taranis? I replaced the bridge pickup with an active emg a few years back but now want to put the passive MEC back in. I don't have the photos anymore and can't make head nor tail of the wiring diagram so any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
6. I have recently blown one of the transistors in the power amp of my Hartke LH1000 and am trying to get hold of one to replace it with. I have contacted Hartke but they are apparently not very prompt with their email replies. I have identified the transistor on the schematic as A1837 and was wondering if anyone could help me source one of these? I took it to RS Components but they couldn't help and I really don't want to pay a repair man to do a fix I can carry out myself. Any help would be really appreciated Cheers
7. Cheers for the kind words Russ really appreciate it...it was actually the beard that gave you the discount and nothing to do with me at all. Smooth as shaft!
8. Just sold my full Orange Rig to Russ and he is a lovely bloke, turned up when he said he would with the cash for the rig and a bag of extra goodies too including a cool little Joyo flanger pedal to sweeten the deal, NO PROBLEMS. I even reduced the price a little bit coz he was a genuinly good bloke and passionate about his bass. So no worries about this guy he is true to his word and won't dick you about at all. He also has a sick 10 string bunny bass which i am looking forward to hearing through my old rig sometime. Cheers Russ, hope you enjoy the beast. Ally
