      Same here, it took I think 5 days for an Italian transfer for a bass I sold recently, but all good in the end.

      Yep, agreed @discreet ! Here's some that are played-in, at least they sound different to when I first strung them...settling down to that lovely 'vowel' tone :)

    If you're worried about your strings not lining up exactly with your pickup pole pieces, it means you've got far too much time on your hands, you muppet!

      @discreet I had the same on my '64 P:  E and A were directly over the middle of a pole piece, G and D between pole pieces. Seems to have been the done thing from what I can see...

    La Bella Flats & Gold White Nylons have arrived!! The Flats will replace the Chromes on my Precision, but will make some recordings for a direct comparison! Very much looking forward to testing the GW Nylons on my Lakland 5!
