1.
If you only have one 8ohm speaker then you'll be getting 160w. Each output can give a maximum of 250w @ 4ohms and 160w @ 8ohms. Although they are a bit underpowered i think adding another cab would be the best option. Some people drive the preamp section as it's known to be a bit weak
I'd rather not get another cab as i've no room in the car for it. One of my options was to sell my 4x10 cab and buy 2 4ohm 2x10 cabs which would allow the amp to put out it's max power into both output sections. Another option i have is to rewire my cab so that it splits the 4x10 into 2 pairs of 4ohm 2x10s with two separate inputs on the cab. That would work but it'll affect the resale price of the cab. The idea with the power amp would be to get the max amount of power out of the cab, i.e. 800 watts. That should give me plenty of head room at gigs.
 2. I've got an ashdown superfly 500 which i love but, as a lot of users know, it's just not loud enough! I'm thinking of buying a power amp to use with it and would appreciate any suggestions. I have an 8 ohm speaker cab with a max. Power rating of 800 watts and i'd like to push the cab at full power with the power amp.
 3. Roland HD-1 Electric Drum Kit for sale. Includes the kit, power supply unit, manual and DVD. I bought this from my drummer 3 months ago after he bought it new about a year ago. He used it mainly as a practice kit but we have gigged with it before. I've not found found the time to use it and I've been of work for nearly 12 months now so it's up for sale. I'd be grateful if you could mention this ad to the drummer in your band just in case he or she is looking for a good practice kit. I'm based in the Newcastle area so would be looking for a pick up or meet somewhere nearby but please let me know where you are and we'll see if we can work something out. Here's the manufacturers info: Roland's V-Drums are the most popular electronic drums in the world, but not everyone has the room or budget for a full V-Drums kit. Introducing the new Roland HD-1. It's forged from the same technology as its predecessors, but its much simpler to use. It's also incredibly quiet, thanks to the newly designed kick beater, cushioned tom pads, and snare head. The HD-1 is also conveniently compact and stylish, perfect for every home, school, studio, etc. And it's priced for the masses. Most of the HD-1's components are mounted on one stand for easy setup and transport, and for a clean look. Just take it out of the box and play. Small Price, Big Performance It might look small, but the HD-1 sounds and performs impressively large. With Roland's legendary V-Drum know-how at the core, this little kit is a dream for first-timer or casual players as well as for parents, since the volume level can be completely controlled via volume knob and/or headphones. Play-Along Fun The HD-1 is equipped with an external input for connecting CD-players, iPods, and the like. Jam along with your favorite songs, and control the blend of music and your live drumming through headphones or an amplifier. Borderless Expression The HD-1 is a great way to enhance musical expression and enjoyment in your home. Used along with other popular instruments such as Roland's digital pianos, the HD-1 will serve as the nucleus for family fun and musical enrichment.
Met with Tom this morning to trade my Jazz for his Precision and had a good chat into the bargain. Very pleased with the Precision which was set up perfectly by Tom. I can highly recommend him to any Basschat member, a very nice guy!

 7.
That's a great combo but it's a bit too big and heavy for me. I was hoping for a 15 or 2x10 combo.
Last chance to get your hands on a great speaker cab. I'm going to withdraw it tomorrow if i don't get any enquiries as i'm planning to have it converted to accept two inputs and run my ashdown superfly at full power. Last BUMP

 10.
Ooooo. I do kinda really like this in a funny way... my soul band would flip if I turned up to practice with this! Red is definately the colour to have it in! Black ones don't quite look so funky. Ah, but I have zero moneys, only a Crafter acoustic bass...
I'm interested but waiting on a sale of my SWR Golliath 4x10 in another thread to raise the necessary funds, hope it's still available when I've got the cash!
PM Replied Bob, This is looking SOLD
Let me know if your sale falls through. I have an SWR Golliath 4x10 up for sale in another thread at the moment and I should have the cash once it sells. I used to have the same blue colour Rockbass Corvette and it was a great guitar for the money but this one looks like a bargain!

 15.
Hi, i've got one like this if interested? Mine originally was a 250W 8ohm but i upgraded to a super dooper Eminence 15 speaker which is 4ohm and 450W if i remeber rightly, it may have been a kappa type speaker but it was very recommend for bass guitar and seriously loud & low!!!...great cab all round including the condition-tweeter too, much better than the ampeg & Ashdown 15 i used to have! I don't think mine has the bass tubes things as shown in the pic...or at least i've never noticed them. If interested i can send some pics when next at our practice place. We'd have to sort couriers too if interested ?
Hi, Someone is coming to look at the cab next week. In any case it might be a bit tricky to work out a trade deal with you though as we are so far apart (Newcastle - Devon), I was hoping to be able to trade or sell in person, i.e. within the Newcastle upon Tyne area. Thanks for your enquiry.

 17.
Just to let you know it's hard to try and sell your type of fender jazz... I had one with badass bridge on as well and I couldn't even get £400 for mine and mine was is very good condition!
I guess it depends on who's looking for a bass at the same time as you are selling. To be honest, i'd be just as happy with a trade as i suggest in my ad. It's a lovely bass though and a nice colour, at least in my opinion anyway. I'll probably regret getting rid of it once it's gone! Dave
