1. Damn, I fancy trying that, let me know if the sale falls through at all!
2. Nice work, plenty of pedals I've never heard of on there too!

4. Ozzy Ozbourne's bio is a riot also!
5. I've had no issues lugging my BB415 around in a well padded bag for the past year, neither should you if you look after it! I prefer the bag as I can carry it on my back, most of my gig/rehearsal travel is via public transport and carrying a hard case would knacker my arms!
6. Back from holiday bump!
7. Yeah, but Mercedes Benz hubcaps sound much better than Volkswagen.
8. TFR sold pending pickup tomorrow. The Bass Muff has a 'dry' mode which mixes in 100% clean signal on top of wherever your fuzz volume is set at. Trouble is this gives an unwelcome volume boost, so I had to mod mine with a master volume control to make it useable: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=112212
9. Fuzzrocious Dark Driving A fantastic overdrive pedal that's basically a clone of the much sought after holy grail of overdrive pedals, the BJFE Blueberry, except there's only one knob on top for volume, and a trimpot inside to adjust the amount of gain. Great for low gain vintage tube amp style overdrive. In a rather fetching purple sparkle colour with a pink and orange planet - will try and get a pic up soon. £100 delivered.
10. Surprised this is still here!
11. My AD200 nails it too with the gain cranked up and bashing my T40 set 'Ric-mode' with a heavy pick!
12. You don't need a pedal with a blend for that tone, just an amp-like overdrive with plenty of low end. Sansamp BDDI or VT, even the other character pedals will get you there. I think the Hives' bassist plays through a Hiwatt tube amp so perhaps try the Tech21 Leeds. Or get a tube amp!
13. Bump

Fuzz/blend pedal

I've not tried a real Colorsound, but the SFX Micro Fuzz is a clone of the Colorsound Bass Fuzz and has an ungodly amount of bowel-wrenching low end. There was one for sale in the classifieds, might still be there!

Fuzz/blend pedal

Yup, get a separate overdrive pedal instead. Blended fuzz can sound a bit artificial unless you're feeding an already overdriven sound into it.
16. Somebody with the user name 'bad back' interested in trading an RH450 for an AD200? Ah, the irony. Hope he does though cos I'd still like that cab!
17. Another shameless plug, but I have an X&M crossover blender for sale! Standard blenders are great for adding a bit of low end back in, but if you dial in too much clean it sounds funny with two clearly separate signals going on. I prefer to use this type of blender with fuzz pedals that already have decent lows, but just to add a bit of clarity and dynamics to the heavily compressed signal. Even better if you send a lightly overdriven signal into the blended fuzz, it sounds much more meshed together that way. If it's a lack of low end you're trying to make up for, I'd go for the Xotic X-Blender over the LS-2 or Barge since it has an active EQ built into it. This X&M does it a bit differently though as you can keep the lows totally clean and send everything above that to the distortion pedal and adjust the levels of both channels, mimicking a recording setup where you blend a low-passed DI signal with a mic'ed cab.
18. Will do! Just curious to try it really, I'm happy with my SFT for now, and I have a Phat Phuk B en route as well so it has some serious competition for board space!
19. Bump, with a reduced price
20. Resistance is futile - Dark Driving shall be mine.
21. Must say I am tempted by the DD even though I didn't think much of the clips... It's just so puurty!
22. Yes, you need one. Our maybe two so you can have one strung with flats and the other with rounds! Squier is probably your best bet, and the Classic Vibe or Vintage Modified series are supposedly the best.
23. Also you can try fitting 500k pots or changing your tone cap if you want more brightness.
24. That or the Korg Pitchblack, depends whether you want your tuner to resemble a stealth bomber or an iPod.
25. Perhaps I should have put the feedback link in my signature as a bigger font? Cheers anyhow!
