This is my '72 precision, [u]very[/u] used, it's all original, apart from the pick ups, I bought it about 16 years ago off a family friend, he gave me the original p/ups, but they never worked. No idea what the ones in it are, but the sound good. It's overdue a re-fret, but it looks like it'll be a hard job to do, it'll probably need re laquered too, and may aswell have the blackened bits of wood sorted too. Any good luthiers around Edinburgh?

My Ibanez, Chris Larkin Fretless acoustic, '72 precision, G&l L5500 and Tribute G&L L2500. The 3 hanging on the wall are the one's my girlfriend thinks are pretty enough to be in the living room. She gets annoyed when I take any of them to a gig because the wall doesn't look balanced, I assume she wants me to get more basses to fill the space?????

My boss is very helpful, she really loves music, so she's always been great. I try to be as helpful as I can when I'm not gigging, so I hope it balances out. We have 3 tours next year though, I think that will really test our relationship, but hopefully I'll have the dates sorted soon so I can give plenty of notice.

I actually saw your 9 string before it was finished, it looks amazing in the flesh. How long did it take to get used to?

Hi there, I'm a newbie and I've mostly been brought here in search of an American G&L2500, but it seems like a nice place so I think I'll stick around if you'll have me. I have a few basses, and I like a deep rich sound, with some nice highs to cut through the rest of the band. Nothing new there. I play lots of styles, but I really love funky fingerstyle, I like Gabe Nelson from Cake, his sound and style is what I aim for. I play in a few bands, but my main band recently has been Metaltech, a techno/rock crossover, which is great because it gives me lots of freedom to experiment with every style from slap to thumping root notes.
