1. I have also played this bass many many times, I really wanted to buy this from Jamie but I live in the states and have Basses I still need to ship here. I always loved it ever since I first played it, it’s a very well played bass and Jamie is one hell of a player too!
2. I have both the old model and new model and I eventually will make another from parts. Safe to say I love them. I prefer the sound of the older model as it’s more to my taste. It’s a bit brighter in my opinion
3. The necks seem pretty solid. The p bass had a bow to it but once the tech set it up it was perfect.
4. I work at guitar center and have played this model and also the surf green p bass and they were both incredible
5. Afternoon all. Just looking to see if anyone knows where I can buy some replacement d shaft knobs for an svt classic ?
6. I took a guitar out to Arizona via BA and there were no questions asked, they just made me put it in the hold and sent it straight through. When I got there no questions asked again by customs, it came through on the baggage conveyor belt and the tape that covered the latches hadn't even been touched.
7. I never knew about the bass place in Phoenix and I've been there quite a lot. It's definitely on the to do list now
8. Reminds me of the Samick Fairlane bass shape
9. Yeah the new model has the reversed p bass pickups. I prefer the sound of the older one in all honesty as to me it's brighter and more snappy? One the d and g strings If you get what i mean
10. Hello so after years of procrastinating i finally managed to get myself the old mark hoppus bass. the teenage me is extremely happy right now
11.
Here she is. Not keen on rosewood to look at, but certainly plays good! 9lbs in weight, 2008 White sparkle Pearl Ray, non matching headstock. A few dings here in and there but nothing major. Still setting up, but can go very low at the moment! It's been a few years since I last had a ray and it feels good!
Very nice

13. Thanks for the replies, I don't want a tone control at all I just want two volumes knobs, I bought a 3 hole control plate so I didn't have to bother at all with the extra knob
14. I have Ernie Ball cobalts on my stingray, they do sound awesome but I will be going back on to elixirs after these are done.
15. I recently ordered a control plate from them and although it took a few days extra to arrive it did actually make its way to me

21. Well after nearly 2 years i finally have a new bass day to report. I only went to costa to see a friend and grab a coffee and ended up purchasing a gorgeous black Musicman Stingray. Im absolutely in love and asking myself why i didn't buy one any sooner I'm in love with the neck on it, the feel and size is perfect as its not quite a p bass but not a jazz either. Thanks for looking
