hi regarding the 505, i picked up the rs900 not long ago and was thinking it would be the 4 string equivalent of my sr505 but theres just something about the 505 that is hard to describe, its so easy to play it sounds better and the action is so low,i dont think i will ever get rid of it and its probably my first and last 5 string does everything i need i thought the rs900 being a neck thru and all that would improve things a little but the 505 just works at what it does so well and also it has a nice string tension i found the 900 with thru body stringing a bit more tighter string wise

Ive got a Nad amp ive had years hooked up to some B&W 601 speakers and a cambridge audio cd4 i still love the sound it gives,cant see me ever getting rid.

i use 40-100 and that works for me was a revalation when i first tried them

i bought some lemon oil and some gm cricket bat linseed and on an old aria sb i bought i while back with crusty frets and dried out rosewood i used some fine wire wool to sort out the frets and the linseed oil and it came up like new was very impressed, i tried the lemon oil on another bass i own but i wasnt as taken so i linseeded all my rosewood basses very happy with the results

he text me to say not to contact him as police where there, i didnt believe him he is a full on bullsh*tter then he sent me this "collar 6502 and 7424" as if these where the police officers present,Walter Mitty springs to mind the guy is just a fantasist!

this bloke text me back saying the person has bought it back and its been stripped ie he has seen this thread and its now not in the condition he sold it and if it had of been he would gladly refund?then he said the poor buyer said they had an email from fender which they couldnt show him, why he needs that i dont know! its not a fender and you dont need fender to tell you that! and then he said Taking abuse and damage is not acceptable amen to that but is he talking about him or the buyer i said if its damaged take the price of an encore roughly £100? mine was for sale for £150 but i had changed pickups and had usa vintage bridge etc and then refund vendor £400 i would say thats fair

two people on here messaged him to tell him it was fake, i saw the advert early doors, he sent me pics and said it was genuine and i said i thought it was fake guess what no reply this bloke knew it was fake someone has gone to the trouble of changing string tree and backplate to sell it as a fake

he has taken the advert off gumtree now this guy is dodgy as f**k a chancer i hate rip off merchants

ive text him again told him to do the right thing and if his music shop is so sure its genuine why doesnt he sell it to them?hope it works out fella but theres not alot else i can do
