    Shellac would give you a nice blonde protective finish, it’s easy to apply with a button rag, dries quickly and is hard wearing, multiple layers giving the best results, I’ve done a few this way and always end up happy with the end product

    Stick me down for a Jazz, I’m wondering if the extra fret would be on a fingerboard extension? If so, count me in for a 21 fret if possible. (If not 20’s ok) Please let me know where to send the deposit. I have a Status MM neck on a sterling body (poor man’s Cutlass) and it’s a great instrument.

    Ovation Magnum II, players grade, a few chips and scratches but all solid, plenty of fret life left, MEC (Warwick) active preamp fitted, 9v. Old worn Ovation preamp included. Generic wooden case included. It’s a shame it’s not getting played and I’m not into collecting. Buyer collects or could meet up for fuel?

    You won’t cover the full F hole on a Pfretzschner but you can make plugs big enough to stop feedback in most situations.

    Well done Beedster, an actual bargain IMO, mines a round back with a deuce bridge and yes, it sounds different to a carved/ply bass but with a bit of work, (F hole foam) and some common sense you can get them to sound pretty much in the ball park.     Thanks for posting that, some of these expensive toys that we buy, don’t always give the desired effect we’re looking for but from what I can hear on the AliKat clips I think I could use one of these. 😉 Nice!

    What are you using to mix the PZ with the Mic? Is it all going to the same Amp?
