1. Graham Gouldman Feel The Benefit from 10cc's Live And Let Live album. Very nice indeed!
  2. Matt bought a set of machine heads off of me, great communication, no fuss transaction. Cheers Matt.
  3.
What a tit! Ah well, means you can legitimately re-list it, I suppose...
+1 but with a reserve price
  4.
If you want a maple neck, Gary Mac has one on here for a very reasonable £80.
Yeah seen it mate, I'm thinking of going for a Mighty Mite, I prefer the feel of them to the Squier's, this one almost feels like a Jazz neck.
  5.
£50? How'd you manage that? Looks very tasty, but I'd probably change the scratchplate myself.
Gumtree mate.
  6. First time I've seen the back of one of those. Very surprised to see it has bolt on necks.
  7.
no one will ever know she aint original Really? On the downside though, some poor bastard has only went and fell for all that sh*te.

  10. It looks lovely, and I'm no expert but the headstock, (in it's colour and in the way the apex of the scroll curve is centred between the D & G string posts) is very much like a Jim Deacon PB62. (or even a re-laquered Squier Affinity) I hope it isn't as you'll not recoup much of that £365.
  11.
There's no way to tell the guy to withdraw his bid, is tnere ? I wonder if I posted a question to the buyer "that neck looks misaligned, can you tell me if you found it a problem ?" that he'd actually make the Q&A public ?
Done it when I spotted it mate, wasn't expecting a reply and didn't get one. Didn't bother reporting it to eBay (been there before) they don't give a crap, they get their fees that's all they care about.

    We're back...

Working fine with Firefox and Chrome. Great job on the quick fix!
  13.
Misaligned? It's in the next bleedin' county.
lol On the plus side though, it is hand painted, the paint is "matte" and it doesn't show any brush marks The poor lad's from Hartlepool.
  14. Look at that G- String! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/squier-precision-bass-/251062605556?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item3a747f56f4#ht_500wt_1202
  15.
There you go it's a "Thats been on ebay before "
I nearly pissed meself when I read that!
  16.
I fancy having a punt on this: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2c651a06c1 It looks really good for the price and the seller seems quite knowledgable. Does anyone have any experience of these basses?
Yeah I bought one minus its electrics off of eBay for £33, Stuck some Squier wiring and pup's in it, it sounded ok and felt sturdy enough (Solid alder body) I never really liked the feel of the neck. Anyway the neck pocket is the right size for a Mighty Mite replacement if you so wish. Trouble with this one is... You can buy brand new and be covered by warranty for £125.00.
  17.
Not the best photos I'm sorry to say but these are my brusts I don't know if the two Tbirds count as Sunbursts however I'm sure my FG Ric doesn't
Envy (drooling)
  18. I had the same problem, all I did was fill the problem hole up with superglue, left it for a day then re-introduced the screw, I've removed the scratchplate a few times since and it's still holding fine.
  19. Ok seems everyone is a bit shy, so I'll start with mine, It's nowt special but it plays nice enough. Squier body, Mighty Mite neck & scratchplate, Wilkinson pickup & machine heads. BB009 Hi mass type Bridge. It still has the bog standard Squier pots, they work fine, but will be replaced in time.
  20.
Wrong, the first two notes are up an octave. If you can't hear that i really suggest you do some work on ear training. G--------|-------|-----------7-9-12-14-| D-7------|-------|-----7-8-10----------| A--------|-8-----|-8-10----------------| E--------|-------|---------------------|
I never tabbed it myself I took the tab from the Live & Dangerous version and moved it up a fret, So it starts in A (440 tuning) to match the version on this thread. I was just trying to help the lad out. not trying to be a smart arse! So you can keep your ear training suggestions to yourself!
  21. Here's it tabbed too G--------|-------|-----------7-9-12-14-| D--------|-------|-----7-8-10-----------| A--------|-------|-8-10-----------------| E---5----|-1-----|---------------------|
