1. If any of my gear shifts (got some interest on my Dingwall) I might make an offer on this, don't really need the gator case tho, how much for a straight sale mate (incl. postage)? cheers Si
 2. further price reduction (pickup only at this price) £650
 3. Backup amp has died on me so really need to shift this to fund new amp
 4.
I could use a bit more information on this bass. I used to have a Z2, which didn't really do it for me but I sort-of still miss it. Obviously the spec has changed since this model ... which year is this? Anything unusual about the truss-rod adjustment? Which pre-amp is it? And what's the spec of the pre-amp? What strings is it wearing?
Don't know much about this one as I traded for it a few months back but ThomBassmonkey might be able to help there as it's the one he sold to Jarhead ... anyway I put some fresh voodoo strings on when I got it (but obviously a few months old now) haven't touched the truss-rod as I'm happy with the action. . Believe these have EMG pre-amps but no idea re: pre-amp spec. Only selling as my ABZ5 isn't getting used & I could do with some cash. cheers Simon
 5.
That would be £190 for a head and 410 with a couple hundred watts. Cant go wrong IMO. Hartke is pretty blegh soundwise but they'll forever be one of my favourite manufacturers because if you have a problem you can call Larry Hartke himself. I have a Gallien Krueger for the same reason, Bob Gallien is a nice man and eager to sort out any problems. Definitely look around used, a gigging rig for under £500 is sooooo easy to come buy it's ridiculous.
That Hartke sounds like a good deal, I wouldn't go combo route either (as stated above) but there are some good ones out there ... what's your band called btw ?
 6.
ok thanks but i love my little GK more than that. good luck.
What did you have in mind ?
 7. Well new (with warranty) they go for +/- £500 & have seen them round the £300 mark 2nd hand so ... £500 .. tho depends a little on how old & condition of GK I guess. Si

 9. Unfortunately due to the lack of interest (and/or high price) of my Markbass rig something else has to give ... so reluctantly I'm putting up for sale my 2nd Dingwall, this Combustion in order to finance the amp I've been after for a while. Would trade for a Gallien Krueger 700RB-II + cash my way. Also I'm swapping my FD-3 4L pups from my ABZ5 (for Big Singles) so these could be a nice upgrade to the Combustion, I'll sell em for £160. It seems a pretty popular number with a lot of BC members for some reason.
2112 = guess there are a few RUSH fans out there

To say I am excited is an understatement :-)
Here's a link to some footage using S12 .. not the best quality recording but there's not much out there as yet so any clips are better than none http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...=0#entry1258401 Si
