1. I'd go; Korg Pitchblack tuner>EBS Octa Bass> Sansamp PB>EBS Bass IQ>EBS Unichorus>EBS Multi comp Clean signal into the Octave and a bit of dirt into the IQ. Give it a go!
2. Octave pedal in excellent condition. With box and instructions. SOLD
3. Traded by Warwick today with Rich for his Stingray. Rich is a really sound bloke and it was a pleasure to meet him. Good communications. Recommended. Cheers Rich, Mike (a very happy Stingray owner)
4. Just bough a Big Muff from Cameron - arrived quickly and well packaged. Top bloke to deal with, recommended.
5. Excellent, great find. Just watched the whole thing too.
6. Hmmm, I'd say the MXR Blowtorch, but you've already tried it. What didn't you like about it? I play a Warwick Stage I through it, and I'm repeatedly impressed by it when I'm playing with my band. My settings kind of look 'wrong' and on its own it doesn't so great but in the mix it is something else.
7. Just sold a Sansamp to Mike - good bloke to deal with. Recommended!
8. Just sold an MXR pedal to Shep. Top bloke to deal with, good comms, all round nice fella.
9. This limited edition bolt-on Thumb in excellent condition is for sale. Only 1 of 150 made. There's a number plate on the neck and the back of the headstock has been signed by Hans Peter Wilfer, the boss at Warwick. Comes with Warwick manual, truss-rod tool, Warwick strings and Warwick wax. Also included is a certificate from Warwick. I have owned this since new. This bass can sound very deep while also having a detailed, or sweet, top end. The volume pot doubles as an active/passive switch. Here's a link; Thumb 2001 TRADED Cheers, Mike

11. Jack is a great guy to deal with. Made me feel quite welcome and gave me some great advice too (its my first double bass!). Much appreciated. Jack, it was two trains and a taxi to get home. Wasn't too bad in the end!
12. I am that man from Crouch End! Thrilled to bits. Thanks Jack, a pleasure to meet you and thank you also for the advice you gave me. Mike
13. In, around, 1990 I played a second hand Ibanez in A1 in Manchester. It had THE best slap sound as far as I was concerned, bar everything I've ever played since. It was £150. Gah!
