Thought I would post this one up for sheer comedy value
Bought a EHX nano clone from Dave late on Thursday night, he posted it on Friday, got it on Saturday!! It was wrapped up in so much bubble wrap it could have withstood a nuclear bomb!! Now if that isn't customer service at its best I dont know what is. Thanks again dude.
Bought an Aphex punch factory of Si, arrived the very next day with more bubble wrap then you could shake a stick at (pointy stick).
Anyways was such a pleasure to do business with him, and would definitely deal with again in the future.
Shaun
You will see quite a few confused French people wandering on this site now, expecting to see a nice big horse burger, or maybe a few horse legs in a variety bucket.
Exactly - sell your guitar player.
Thats usually the answer to most problems in a band
Have a free bump for making me almost choke on my crunchy nut corn flakes reading that
Just out of interest (and certainly not trying to teach you to suck eggs) I get the same sort of sound from my amp when the batteries on my bass (Stingray) are dead or dying. I only mentioned it because it took me hours to work that one out and I was convinced it was the amp.
That happened to me when I got my new GK rig. Thought it was broken before I even got a chance to use it, then changed the my Ibanez's 9v battery and it soundes great again
Glad you got everything sorted

Got a gig on friday 19th October at the bedroom in Whitley Bay if anyone is interested
Thought I would start a thread for him because hes a cracking guy and was a pleasure to do business with him. Bought his Epiphone Thunderbird off him over the weekend and its a beauty. It was exactly as listed in great condition and sounds even better then it looks.
So I would recommend him to anyone!!
Thanks
Shaun
Well I can say that this bass is definitely capable of playing metal. I play mostly metal/hard rock on this bass and because of the activeness of this bass you can dial up any tone for the type of music your playing. This is definitely a nice 5'er for metal, you will love the sound of the B string

Looks nice to me although P basses arent my thing, someone else might get a bargain if the reserve isnt too high.
Is he playing through 3 fridges?
No they are chicken ovens or whatever the term for them is (the ones you see in supermarkets). I preferred his Washing machines when I went to see them on the 30th anniversary tour he got so much of a better tone out of them 1x18" washing machine speakers
Thanks for that - very interesting, and prompted me to think about getting a GK head as a polar opposite of my Ampeg V4!
Im using a Gallien Krueger Backline 600 300watt head and a GK backline 115BX 1x15" cab. For the price they are bloody good! tried out some other amps in the same price range and they didnt really compare to my ears.
