Boss TU-2

Having a bit of a clear out and I don’t really need this as I’m not in a band and have no plans to be just now. It’s a Boss TU-2 Pedal Tuner, in pretty good nick. Comes in its box, which I’d written my old bands name on when we were away in Germany a few years ago. No pictures at the minute as I’m at work but everyone knows the score with these. Can try and get pictures tomorrow if needs be. Price is £25 plus say £3 for P&P? I don’t have Paypal so it’s bank transfer or cheque only, unless you’re in Glasgow and want to collect it and pay cash.

Also, is the original neck available anywhere, I'd like to mod it back to original sometime incase I like what you're offering...
I'm in Glasgow, if you want to come and try it you're more than welcome. As for the original neck, I bought the body from Mr Fudge, you'd need to contact him to see if he's looking to sell.
I'd buy this right now if it wasn't for the mighty mite neck... I'm kinda looking for the whole package, unaltered.. Have the electronics been altered in any way?
Nope, all electrics are completely stock, nothing has been altered at all. The passive sound is classic Jazz, with the pre-amp on it sounds huge! Apologies for the neck, I bought the body on here from another Basschatter who used the neck in a project of his own.
Oh my LP Goldtop, that thing was amazing.
+1 I traded my Epiphone Goldtop (worth £500+) for a Squier Tele Custom (about £200?) with a guitar shop in a moment of naivety. The owner knew he was ripping me off and when I had traders remorse a few weeks later and went to enquire about getting it back, I was informed that I'd have to pay £150 as well as trading in the Squier. My arse was sore for weeks after that shafting
I'm intrigued. How low can you get the action without rattling? I've owned a couple of MM's and couldn't get a good, really low action which is important to me.
To be honest I'm not completely sure. I had it set up last February and haven't adjusted it since, and the action's quite low. I normally have the action set at low-to-medium, and this is probably the easiest playing bass I've owned. However there is a little bit of buzz and clank, but amplified it's never been a problem. Over the weekend I'll get my ruler out and measure the string height for you.

Hi all! I've got an unusual one here, it's a Marcus Miller Jazz Bass but with a maple Mighty Mite Jazz neck and 70s style Hipshot tuners. I bought the Body on here about 2 years ago and previously had an Allparts neck on it which wasn't much good, so I put the Mighty Mite neck on it which is a million times better. I put all this together about a year ago but I'm thinking about swapping for a Precision, preferably Sunburst or black. The body's completely stock, all electrics working, and I sourced all the other parts myself, neck, tuners, neck plate etc. I've also got the pickup cover for the neck pickup. The action's really nice and it's a dream to play and it sounds good too! It's in really good condition too with the exception of a mark on the back of the neck and a hole in the headstock where, like a chump, I drilled straight through while putting on the tuners. Both of these are included in the pictures. Could do with a new set of strings and when I received the body the Micro tilt screw for adjusting the neck was AWOL, so it's just shimmed normally to accomodate the Badass II. If anyone is interested you can contact me via the mobile number on my profile under 'Interests' as I don't get on here often! Hi there! I've got some bills that need to be settled so I'm having to sell on my Epi SG. It's in full working order, and in really good condition other than 2 dings, one on the forearm chamfer and one on the headstock. The pictures aren't great and the guitar will be restrung and stickers removed before I sell it (unless you're a Frank Turner fan too!) I bought it second hand last summer for £150, and the dings were there when I acquired it. The seller told me he'd put a Gibson humbucker in the neck but I haven't checked so I'll verify that! It's nice and light, and the actions good too, I'm looking for £100. I don't have a case but I could arrange postage if needs be, but I'd prefer collection. If you're interested you can contact me via the mobile number on my profile under interests as I don't get on here as often as I'd like!
Can't say as I've had any refin done by him, but this guy is very good with guitars & his history speaks for itself. I've picked out his page with a couple of his jobs on it. http://www.rvguitars.co.uk/news.php
Cheers Stu, I've given him an email just now for a quote. I had one back from Moon, it was £180, which I've been quoted before for a full body respray! -
Refinishing Services In Glasgow/central Scotland
Jono Bolton posted a topic in Repairs and Technical
Hi there, I've got a Fender Jazz in sage green and I quite fancy getting the headstock finished in the same colour to match the body. For some reason the colour has always put me in mind of the custom colours that Fender did in the 60s, like burgundy mist, and most of those custom colour basses had matching headstocks. So, with a sixties style project in mind, can anyone recommend me somewhere in Glasgow (preferably) or central Scotland who offer refinishing services so I can get in contact for a quote? I've already emailed Moon Guitars and I'm waiting on a reply, does anyone know of anywhere else I could get it refinished? Cheers!
