So, I've had the 4 string version of this for a while now and it's been brilliant. After not really getting enough out of the Stingray % I had I decided to try the 5 string version of the T-bass. And the verdict? Great to play, not really sold on the looks. Really lovely neck - the slimmest I've played, the pickups and the controls have a great sound, although I don't think it needs the active circuitry personally. It's just a bit big in the body and a little bit too slabby for me - which I didn't think about the 4 string at all. Anyway, a couple of pics until the weekend when we get some decent light. Bottom of the range, bolt on neck entry level bass. Try a Superheadless or a Thunder III and then tell us what you think of them. Obviously it's subjective anyway...

Are there any basschatters who live in or near Windermere who can vouch for Stu's Guitar Shop? I want to buy a bass from there but I can only find a facebook page and a twitter account - not an actual web page. The owner has asked for payment by bank transfer but I would want to do this until I find out it's a real shop! (I probably wouldn't want to do it this way at all actually) Thanks!
