4. My first bass: Squier Bronco Did me well for years, still play it ocasionally now, fitted a SD SCPB-1 pup to it, might fit a Gotoh 201 in the near future aswell. If i ever get back into gigging id have this as my back up bass.
Thankyou for your comment, have you played them before, also what strings do you recommend, if you know, that would sounds like Tim?
No problems! Well the strings are upto you, try some out and see whats best for you personally. Tim uses Ernie Ball Slinky Strings.
8. Squire Modified Jazz! Looks just like Tims old gigging jazz, and will be easy to customize. Has had many good reviews. http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product.asp?id=5360
9. I rarely adjust the tone on my passive basses, all are set to slight treble. For my ATK ive boosted the bass and treble, kept the mid in the erm mid
10. Nymphetamine - Cradle of Filth, not my usual thing but i fancied a change. Its in 6/4 which was a nice surprise.
11. Im probably wrong about the first ever range's finish. Ill check my fender books and reply if i find something. EDIT: From 'The Bass Book' 2003-06 'First Version' Satin Finish Body, truss-rod adjuster at headstock end. 2006-Current 'Second Version' Satin Finish Body, truss-rod adjuster at body end.
12. They are the same bass to an extent, just people call them either 1 or One, Fender use 'One'. When the highway one first came out it had a nitro paintjob, standard fender bridge ect ect, but they released an upgraded version a few years ago, which has the same nitro finish but come with a BAII bridge and 70's logo as standard. No HW-1's are thru-body. On my GAS list currently, well have been for a few years.

Hi OHM, I dont think theres a difference in HW/1 and USA, i had a look under http://www.fender.com/support/ but couldnt find anything that says otherwise. I havnt got a copy of 2005 Frontline, but Honey blonde wasnt avaliable for the US Jazz in 2004.
