just a feeler to see if anyone would be willing to trade their Ampeg B2RE (with a little cash your way) or a B1RE either direct swap or a little cash my way, for my Ashdown MAG 300 H Head. my head has been extensivley gigged, and works fine, made in China but doesn't appear to have suffered from the transformer issue that the MAG 300's of this model had. it has been my main gigging head since new and has only just been replaced by an SVT 4, so I am looking to swap it for an Ampeg backup/Loaner. (its an aesthetic thing I like stuff to match) face to face exchanges only in the interests of the possibility of having a coffee/beer and chatting about bass stuff for a bit. other swaps considered, but I do need a backup/Loaner head. will post pics here on request, or if I get round to it.

New Bass Head day! just got myself a b-stock SVT-4 pro, which (as my bandmates will attest) I have been after since about April last year after the Bass player for The Coronas (fantastic Irish Band, really do recommend you check them out) let me play through his. anyway, Pics so far... Last Picture Thanks Folks

I used Elites for about 8 years, up until about 3-4 years ago they were fantastic. Then they changed, they went dead quicker, the sound became very thin despite everything else being set the same and as noted they didn't feel the same to play. I changed to D'Addario Nickel strings and they are keeping me happy at the moment.

fantastic, Thanks folks

ok I have a couple of 5 String basses and for some reason (That escapes me right now) I thought it would be a good idea to have one of the songs that we recently wrote tuned AEADG. now I know that Hipshot (amongst others I am sure) do D-tuners that will take an E String Down to a D. common sense suggests that this should also work for a B to A detune, but I thought I would ask you good people before committing myself to the purchase. What do you think?

I have a Boxed MXR SuperCOMP with all the Registration card and everything available. Basically Identical to the DynaCOMP just with an extra Control (Attack Level I think is the extra one) I couldn't get a good sound out of it and it would distort at settings that I wanted to use (with the attack around 1 o'clock) a good review of the DynaCOMP is Here I appreciate this isn't great for Bass. I'm looking for £50 or reasonable Offer. I'll post a Picture or Two shortly thanks

THIS IS NOW SOLD - should be in Sweden beginning a New life. hope it brings SuperSwede all the enjoyment it has brought me over the last 12-15 years. I have a Squier Katana bass that I need to move on. I'm looking for about £120. I've had to replace the Plastic Jackplate for a metal one, but generally it is similar to this one (IT IS NOT THIS ONE) Squier Katan From E-bay mine is a little rougher at the edges I will take some pictures at the weekend and get them posted. I would prefer to transact face to face, I live in Buckinghamshire and regularly travel to Hampshire and Surrey as well as North London so would be willing to deliver to those Locations. Thanks

Anyone know a good source of band t shirts?
Kraken replied to vmaxblues's topic in General Discussion
I've always used a company in Lincoln called Running Imp, they were cheaper than anywhere else and did a good job on the screen print and used fruit of the loom t-shirts. haven't disappointed me yet. they tend to invoice for payment after though. -
