1. That sorta makes sense to on the first read, I will have another read of it later today when I'm not getting ready for work and I'm sure it will be spot on. So I'd just need that sheet with the harmonics note names after all. Thanks Major! (and BottomEndian - who posted the Harmonics Sheet)
2. kind of like the second link in this post
This one? Just go to the "harm" tab and click "show all". <two minutes later> Here you go.
but with the notes also tied to the musical staff.
3. I'm starting to learn to read Bass Harmonics in Standard notation, it isn't as easy as straight Bass Clef. do any of you have an A4 PDF (one or two sides of) that will help me tie up the notes on the Musical Staff to the location of the harmonic on the fretboard? I would prefer that it used treble clef rather than lots of ledger lines but something is better than nothing. It would be nice to not have to go and buy a book just for this.
4. Hey, I'm a bit south (Aylesbury/High Wycombe) but if I can do it I'd be willing to come up to MK. what is the session for?
5. this may seem a bit daft, I assume the picture next to your posts is you... you've not switched wearing your watch from your left wrist to your right wrist? I've had watches with hands (hour, minute, second - you get the idea) get their motion reported by the pickups on basses before. Apologies if that isn't it, and good luck getting it fixed.
6. Pending all the usual exchanges, this Item is now SOLD thanks for looking and commenting (Almost made me change my mind)
7. Peter, Sorry it's taken me so long. Replied to your PM. Will reply again now having read your post. if that is the case I'm still going to only take £120 (no flexibility upwards in price either) but it might work better if you transfer the cash to your friend and we can do cash for bass. Barny
Not even flexibility upwards in price? I'm really interested in your Katana, but I live in Sweden, however, a friend of mine will stay at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel located at Hyde Park in London during next weekend (Thursday evening to early Monday morning). (http://www.radissonblu.co.uk/hotel-london/location) If you're interested in selling it to me and drop it off at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, I'm willing to give you £150 for the bass guitar! So what do you think about that? I can transfer the money to your bank account so that you know that you're not making the trip unnecessarily. Otherwise if you can consider sending it to Sweden, that could also be an option, but then I'll only willing to pay £135+shipping. //Peter
8. Have E-mailed Hipshot, but they haven't replied yet. I think it is one of these ones, HE6C - 1/2" Clover Key or this one HE6C - 3/8" Clover Key what is the 1/2" and 3/8" measuring?
9. ok, I have one of these Deluxe Jazz Bass 24 V in the spec it says the Tuners are 'Hipshot® Tapered Shaft' so if I were to install a Hipshot D-Tuner on the B string, which one would I use? I will post pictures Later if required.
10. Sunday Bump and Price Drop, changed from £150 to £120. Buyer Collects, no flexibility on price anymore
11. Damn, where where you 3 weeks ago I have an SVT 4 Pro now, but have a free Bump on me.
12. Darn, Looks Like I might have missed it, but I'll be 4th in the que if noone else does, I'll even collect.
13. just a feeler to see if anyone would be willing to trade their Ampeg B2RE (with a little cash your way) or a B1RE either direct swap or a little cash my way, for my Ashdown MAG 300 H Head. my head has been extensivley gigged, and works fine, made in China but doesn't appear to have suffered from the transformer issue that the MAG 300's of this model had. it has been my main gigging head since new and has only just been replaced by an SVT 4, so I am looking to swap it for an Ampeg backup/Loaner. (its an aesthetic thing I like stuff to match) face to face exchanges only in the interests of the possibility of having a coffee/beer and chatting about bass stuff for a bit. other swaps considered, but I do need a backup/Loaner head. will post pics here on request, or if I get round to it.
14. New Bass Head day! just got myself a b-stock SVT-4 pro, which (as my bandmates will attest) I have been after since about April last year after the Bass player for The Coronas (fantastic Irish Band, really do recommend you check them out) let me play through his. anyway, Pics so far... Last Picture Thanks Folks
15. I used Elites for about 8 years, up until about 3-4 years ago they were fantastic. Then they changed, they went dead quicker, the sound became very thin despite everything else being set the same and as noted they didn't feel the same to play. I changed to D'Addario Nickel strings and they are keeping me happy at the moment.

17. ok I have a couple of 5 String basses and for some reason (That escapes me right now) I thought it would be a good idea to have one of the songs that we recently wrote tuned AEADG. now I know that Hipshot (amongst others I am sure) do D-tuners that will take an E String Down to a D. common sense suggests that this should also work for a B to A detune, but I thought I would ask you good people before committing myself to the purchase. What do you think?

19. Posted Pictures for you all, please excuse the carpet, looks like my brother spilled something all over it. worth noting that there is a little interest in this at the moment.
20. I have a Boxed MXR SuperCOMP with all the Registration card and everything available. Basically Identical to the DynaCOMP just with an extra Control (Attack Level I think is the extra one) I couldn't get a good sound out of it and it would distort at settings that I wanted to use (with the attack around 1 o'clock) a good review of the DynaCOMP is Here I appreciate this isn't great for Bass. I'm looking for £50 or reasonable Offer. I'll post a Picture or Two shortly thanks
21. THIS IS NOW SOLD - should be in Sweden beginning a New life. hope it brings SuperSwede all the enjoyment it has brought me over the last 12-15 years. I have a Squier Katana bass that I need to move on. I'm looking for about £120. I've had to replace the Plastic Jackplate for a metal one, but generally it is similar to this one (IT IS NOT THIS ONE) Squier Katan From E-bay mine is a little rougher at the edges I will take some pictures at the weekend and get them posted. I would prefer to transact face to face, I live in Buckinghamshire and regularly travel to Hampshire and Surrey as well as North London so would be willing to deliver to those Locations. Thanks
