D I remember a few people finding small pedals on eBay a while ago? there was a tuner that a few people said was good and I'm also sure there was an OCD clone? I'm after one to try but don't want to spend a fortune on one so this might be a way to see if i like it. Ta

So do you think the cover over the pots is original? I have taken it off and there's crud under the lip that looks like it's been there for ages. The plate is countersunk and the screws look original. Remove or keep ?

I'm very excited to receive my new bass. Fender Jazz Special from around 1988. In very good condition by the looks of it, original pickups with big pole pieces, all three F knobs (these are delicate and rare) As it's quite late in the run it doesn't have the black neck but the neck is flawless apart from a scuff at the top out of the way, nice bit of flame on it too. There is a covering over the rear access plate, do you think this is original or a replacement cover? Should I take it off ? It going for a set up next week and some Rotos 66 just like Duff. And here's the rub...I found it on eBay listed as a Base! So the price (included hard case, stand, couple of sets of strings and a mini guitar amp) was very reasonable
