5.
Do you have the hex key for adjusting the saddles? I believe they are a strange size.
Really? nothing that a normal set of Allen keys won't shift IME. Best bridge on the planet IMO (for Jazzes)
6. Hi, Not sure on age to be honest as I got this one as part of a trade about 8months ago. It's in great condition though and well looked after. Tony
7. Great Class D amp, usual Aguilar quality. Sounds great. £315 posted in the UK now £300 see link below for images http://s1376.photobucket.com/user/tonybass72/slideshow/Aguilar%20TH%20350
8. Anyone use or tried one on bass? Thoughts? T
9.
Sounds really good - yep, no tweeters needed there. I wouldn't have bought my Bergs if I'd heard them with the tweeters on, but with them off they're bang on the sound I like - the difference in the cabs is startling. I've had the same experience with BF cabs (S212T and BB2), Markbass (their tweeters are really horrid) and others. The only tweeter I can recall liking at all was the one on the Roland DBass combo/extension. Even then I only had it on a little. I play with bright stainless rounds, pick, slap, all sorts of tones. Good news is it's always cheaper without a tweeter...
I'm all for a bit of cost cutting! It's a leap of faith getting one without though. Although it would give me a valid excuse to by another cab sooner rather than later!! Sssh don't tell the wife.
10. Which version is this? Model number? Thanks
11. M5 is a steal at that price! Really nice little unit. Have a bump!
12. Bugger! That London it is then!
13. I went to one of these a few years ago in Manchester. Are these still going in the North? noticed there was one in London this year. :-(
14.
Here's a clip from my gig last night of my tweeterless S212. I get enough highs off it for my needs, but YMMV. http://youtu.be/i03gdUnWrrE
Great tone and groove going on here. What's the head?
15. Great cab, well priced too.
16. Well, I finally picked up an MB500 Fusion class D. Had a good old play with it today. It sounds great, plenty of power on tap. Kept trying to compare both amps. Both had something different. There is definitely something going on with the TH350 that makes me smile. I know from experience the notes sound thick and it always sits well in the mix. So now one has to go and I'm struggling. I created my own issue again! Thoughts? :-)
17. Mmm..curry scented bass cabs v wife Tough choice Having a good sniff of your proposed purchase before handing over the reddies is probably a good idea. Watching the sales assistants face...priceless!!
18. Yeah, had the same via Facebook too. No response.
19. Thanks all for input. Think I'll keep my options open on this one and get a cab with one in. From there a can make the judgement whether I'd need one on a second cab too, later down the line (if I'm penny pinching!). Can't wait for this to arrve now!
20.
I use my Tonehammer without the tweeter switched on on my cab, but dialling it in certainly makes a difference to the sound - a lot more high end, and clarity/precise-ness on the notes. Although I`m not a fan of tweeters I`d say get a cab with one in - better to have it and not find you need it than the other way round.
Yeah, I think this would be the sensible approach.
