  1. Reunion blues continental, RBX range as is the fender custom shop which looks like the continental in all honesty. Bit pricy but not quite as pricy as the mono's.
  2. [quote name='Roland Rock' timestamp='1445668004' post='2893192'] I'd be very surprised at that. My bass is wider than a Jazz and just as long, with a similar offset body and it fits in the Contego fine [/quote] Yeah, read a few responses and somewhere saying they he no issues so whether it was a manufacturing issue on early models. Plenty of pics on google housed with a jazz!
  3. [quote name='tonyclaret' timestamp='1445631497' post='2893064'] I mean the main carrying handle, the Protec has the two handles that join together by a bit of Velcro strapping. Having said that in this instance it does look good value, compared to the alternatives. Could be an option. [/quote] Following up on the contego, just read on TB that they don't fit Jazz basses? Unless they have changed the design recently which I don't think they have?
  4. [quote name='discreet' timestamp='1445628404' post='2893034'] If you want a good case with plenty of room for things other than your bass, I can recommend the Protection Racket 7051, which is very competitively priced. I wouldn't want to walk far with it on my back, though. [/quote] Yeah seen these, they look quite bulky though?
  5. [quote name='Roland Rock' timestamp='1445628054' post='2893025'] I find the Mono M80 a bit lacking in the storage department, compared to the Protec Contego, which is great. The Protec also has great padding, but I fear you may find it too heavy When you say one handle, do you mean a side carry handle? I'm not sure I've seen a case with more (or less) than one TBH [/quote] I mean the main carrying handle, the Protec has the two handles that join together by a bit of Velcro strapping. 6. Just got one of these second hand. After years of waiting for one at the right price I finally got one...wait for it. I didn't like it. There is no doubting the quality. I like the padding, the one handle, he finish. However, I found it quite bulky, weighty but most of all limited on storage. Struggled to get a class d micro head in there with a couple of leads and power supply. Perhaps I'm asking for too much. Might go down the single bag route now. Not sure how the other mono cases are for storage? Up for recommendations, light as poss, one handle, adequate padding. ;-)
  7. Anyone got one of these? Thoughts? Looks well padded with good storage pockets.
  8. [quote name='colgraff' timestamp='1445251436' post='2889884'] I would strongly recommend one of these: [size="2"]http://www.herculesstands.co.uk/p/auto-grab-guitar-stand-with-foldable-yoke?pp=24[/size] I've used one for years and all basses of shapes have been kept safe in it. [/quote] I was thinking compact as I won't need it out all of the time, but looking at the pics this does fold down a lot smaller than I envisaged. :-)
  9. [quote name='SICbass' timestamp='1445196202' post='2889553'] That looks well risky to me. If your rig ist tall enough (and most are) I've always liked the Markbass Bass Keeper. Dead safe, and so easy to transport. [/quote] Can't argue you with that choice, I have two for live work. One of my better investments for sure. Want something for home.
  10. [quote name='Sammers' timestamp='1398417487' post='2433828'] Here's a quick sneak peak of my pair of S112's that I received last week, I'll probably get a NCD thread up over the weekend to share my full experiences and i'll post a couple pictures of my own! Here's the pic Tommy sent me before they shipped [/quote] Is the above styling not available anymore, are they all based on the v frame now? All look great but do like the above ever so slightly more ;-)
  11. Great polyphonic octave pedal, works a treat! http://www.bossus.com/products/oc-3/ £65 posted - Now £60 posted!! Pics to follow.
  12. Hi, I've been looking for a small guitar stand and like the look of this. However it looks like the supporting arms are fixed. Wondering if it will hold the unsymmetrical shape of the Jazz body in place. Anyone got one and using it with a Jazz? Cheers
  13. [quote name='Dad3353' timestamp='1444728862' post='2885343'] What hardware and OS are you using..? What (if any...) messages do you see..? I'm using Win 10 and Chrome on a PC, always using the 'Full Editor' and have no problems whatsoever. The following is my 'standard' response to pic problems ... [color=#0000cd]Try this, to delete attachments no longer required, and liberate quota space..?[/color] [color=#0000cd]Go to your 'My Profile' (your pseudo, top right...).[/color] [color=#0000cd]Select 'Edit my Profile' (black button a bit below...).[/color] [color=#0000cd]Select 'Manage Attachments' (in the list on the left...).[/color] [color=#0000cd]They are listed in date order. Navigate to oldest, select those to be deleted (tick boxes on the right...).[/color] [color=#0000cd]Select 'Delete Selected' (grey button at bottom right of list...).[/color] [color=#0000cd]Repeat, page by page, until all unwanted attachments are deleted.[/color] [color=#0000cd]Using the BBCode link supplied by an external photo account such as PhotoBucket, Imgur or ImageShack is a good idea; the photos are better presented and it uses no BC server space. I use Imgur (it's free...); here's what it looks like (the correct link for Basschat is in green...) ...[/color] [color=#0000cd][/color] [color=#0000cd]Others are similar (assuming use of a PC; I no nothing of other devices...). Hope this helps...[/color] [/quote] Thanks Dad! Your advice was spot on. As soon as I'd deleted all old images I could add new. Must have used my allowance. Will look into other image hosting options. Cheers Tony
  14. Hi, I'm having difficulty uploading images to any post. Via iphone or computer, they are only small files so that shouldn't be an issue. Is there a known issue at the moment? thanks Tony
  15. Fender Jazz in tip top condition, plays and sounds superbly. Made in Mexico 2011. Burnt Sunburst burst body. Prefer collection from Earby, Lancashire but would post at buyers expense. ;-)

  17. [quote name='spike' timestamp='1443352431' post='2874000'] Took a trip down to Bass Gear yesterday expecting to buy a pair of Begantino cn112s but after trying several different speakers I ended up ordering two TKS S112s. They have a warmth that the Bergantinos lack. Just have to wait for them to arrive now. [/quote] What amps were used to test? Cheers

  19. Superb amp in great condition. Not looking for any amp trades, prefer cash, but would listen to possible trade on a mono dual bass case. £300 plus postage
  20. Wow, can't believe I've only just stumbled on this brand. Interested to see if anyone has made the switch from bergs to tks. Got one CN112 at the moment, which sounds great to me. Mmm....
