I'm in the market too for something new. Sturdy but comfortable. Like the look of the Gigblade but not enough user reviews out there yet to make an informed decision. I wonder how walking upstairs with this one would be. The mono sleeve looks the slickest solution but the storage flap seems a bit pointless, more looks than usability. Going to be quality though.

Anyone else tried these yet? I'm in the market for a single padded case. These look decent. Cay you access the guitar from the top, or do you have to lie it flat to get the bass out? Storage looks limited.

Have used normal insulation before but that electrician tape takes it to the next level! Never thought about doing the same on the 4-blocks! Know I'm unplugging mine now and not someone else's!
