1. M5 is a steal at that price! Really nice little unit. Have a bump!
2. Bugger! That London it is then!
3. I went to one of these a few years ago in Manchester. Are these still going in the North? noticed there was one in London this year. :-(
4.
Here's a clip from my gig last night of my tweeterless S212. I get enough highs off it for my needs, but YMMV. http://youtu.be/i03gdUnWrrE
Great tone and groove going on here. What's the head?
5. Well, I finally picked up an MB500 Fusion class D. Had a good old play with it today. It sounds great, plenty of power on tap. Kept trying to compare both amps. Both had something different. There is definitely something going on with the TH350 that makes me smile. I know from experience the notes sound thick and it always sits well in the mix. So now one has to go and I'm struggling. I created my own issue again! Thoughts? :-)
6. Mmm..curry scented bass cabs v wife Tough choice Having a good sniff of your proposed purchase before handing over the reddies is probably a good idea. Watching the sales assistants face...priceless!!
7. Yeah, had the same via Facebook too. No response.
8. Thanks all for input. Think I'll keep my options open on this one and get a cab with one in. From there a can make the judgement whether I'd need one on a second cab too, later down the line (if I'm penny pinching!). Can't wait for this to arrve now!
9.
I use my Tonehammer without the tweeter switched on on my cab, but dialling it in certainly makes a difference to the sound - a lot more high end, and clarity/precise-ness on the notes. Although I`m not a fan of tweeters I`d say get a cab with one in - better to have it and not find you need it than the other way round.
Yeah, I think this would be the sensible approach.
10. Hi, Deliberating whether to get the tweeter version or not. I am pairing it with a Aguilar TH350, the high end on these I believe only goes to 4khz so if it isn't there at the source I ain't going to need the sparkle of the tweeter? although I suppose it's good to have on tap if I ever do change amps or feel the need for more treble. Decisions! On another note although related, some people appear to have bought direct form TKS, on the web it's says to go through Bass Gear now?
11. Check out wanted section, someone was looking for one or a TH500!
12.
Is it an American Standard or American Deluxe? In my opinion: 400 for either is a steal (assuming it's not actually damaged/broken, etc.) 600-900 for an American Standard is a fair scale and very competitive price for an American Deluxe. Depends on a few variables of course - and colour too - sunburst tends to be a little more expensive from what I've seen myself.
Just a standard pal. Could be worth the punt then. Thanks
13. I've been offered one of these recently, last years model in good nick. Whilst doing my research I found there was quite a difference in prices, some were 6-700 others 900, there was one even at 400, although it was a bit battered. What's the going rate? Tony Cheers
14. I'll be keeping a tab on this currently in the market for one. I recently had Mono 2B, quality was exceptional however, the storage was pretty poor. It was a very tight squeeze to get a micro amp in the side pocket. Your needs might be different to mine. I'm intrigued by the Reunion blues RBX range at the moment, they do a dual bass version.
15. Soundbox 2 Orbital Modulator chorus, flanger, phaser and more Great sounding pedal with presets that can be saved to your desire. £85 posted in UK
