This is one of those sales I just know I'm going to regret, but for various reasons I seem to be gravitating towards Class A/B SS amps with large output transformers. Whether that's wise, I'm not sure - it remains to be seen and heard - but meanwhile, up for grabs is my superb Gallien Krueger MB500 Fusion. You probably already know what you're looking at, as this amp has been available for a while now and its pedigree has been established. Lots of reviews and videos are available on t'internet, but it was Norm Stockton's YouTube review that swayed me in the first place:

Does it sound like a G-K? It'll do 'The G-K Grind' if you want it to. In fact, it'll do The Lambeth Walk if you want it to... it has a vast range of tonal variation available and is extremely versatile. Anything from round, warm old-school vibes to modern hi-fi tones. It's dual-channel too, so you can have two different sounds on the go and toggle between them with a footswitch (footswitch and cable included in the deal).

It has three high-voltage preamp valves running 300V and they're not just for show - as they can be in some Class D equipment - the Gain, EQ, Contour and DI out are all valve-driven.

You don't need a preamp or sound shaper in front of this amp. The G-K sounds seriously great in its own right and is immense. It's rated at 500W RMS @ 4ohms, but you really need to get this thing fired up and running to realise that regardless of what the figures tell you, this is one LOUD amp. If you want a big sound from a small box, this is definitely for you.

I'm asking just £375 Posted, payment via bank transfer only please. Item will be very well packed and despatched via an appropriate insured and signed-for method. I will PM the buyer with an ETA and tracking information. My feedback is here.

I thank you! :)

Ah my old amp! Still one of my favouritest bass amps ever, a cracking little bit of kit. And a steal at that price too :)

Edit - the stock photos show speakons only for the speaker outs but I'm pretty sure this is an early model with the green combi-speakon/jack sockets if that helps!

Yes it does - you are correct Sir, thank you. They are Jack-Combo sockets which accept Speakon or 1/4" (6.3mm) jack sockets. :)
