5.
Ah a comprehensive test of the EBS range then.
Indeed, comprehensive, if it can't do bass, it goes.......
6.
What cabs have you tried?
a pair of the 1x12's, they farted out at the merest twitch of the bass knob!
7. The 4x10 i could lose but the rest, i have a very nice low milage wife.................
8. I thought so, good info .
9. Now that looks sweet, details plaese. Could never find that ebs cabs could handle the low end I needed, yet to try the heads tho.
10. This is seriously good value, I sold a black one recently for a lot more than that, the damage could be sorted easy I guess. Bumpio
11. Nice one last night great atmosphere, usual group of drunk girlies requesting Abba, coupla pics.........
12. Think, Jazz bass on Steroids! huge eq +- 24db slim neck, great ergonomic. And just plain class. I dont think you will see one of the current Rumour equed ones for £800 any time soon, so I would guess for a current crop one £1500+. if u can find one that is.
13.
I have just turned down two well paying gigs- £200 per gig ( should have been this week and next week ) as my wife was saying I have been playing too much- (3 times per month ) So when she asked for the money for a new carpet I said we couldnt afford it- I said that to earn £400 in my hand I would have to earn about £850 before tax etc so it was a shame I couldnt do these two gigs. A lesson learnt for my wife and you can guess what the answer will be the next time I am asked to Dep!! cheers Bob
Nice one! I bet you felt quietly glib!
14. I think I might even like it over a Sunburst! 15.
Family and friends time? Any day is that...... and NYE is just another day..... the difference is that NYE can earn you a packet! Go see you Auntie Mabel on Jan 3rd...
I hear You, I hear you!
16. rumour is we may have a booking for £2.5k for our six piece.........again trying hard to convince the wife! what is with em eh!, hell i'd give her all the dosh in the end, but its, "well its family and friends time" u get the drift and i guess some of u have heard it all, how do i react?
17. Cheers Ebs, thats a nice touch and i guess all these nice touches add up to the price you intimated to me.......wowsa dont take it out of the house. I gig my gb regularly now, as its the only bass I have, and whilst they are mighty pretty to keep polishing, in my opinion they are designed to gig and play, so they are bound to pick up knocks, However heartbreaking that may be!. I wonder if a worn and mojoed GB would gain in value ala a worn jazz et al? now theres a question.
18. I have 2 for the Ipswich gigs, rock on, MK!
