1.
It's a standard gt200 mk2 case but made of the lighter wood so it's only 23kgs and with the side handles it makes it very easy to carry
hmm... tempted to get mine re-housed now.
2. big fan of the vox amplug - I've never looked back.

5. I'm pretty impressed with hartke 410s at the cheaper end of the scale too.
6. I think I want something smaller than those.
7. http://www.ampeg.com/products/classic/svt212av/ Anyone played one? Gassing for one of these - not too heavy, good size .... and maaaybe not the sound quality compromise that comes with lightweights.... (closes can of worms) thoughts? experience?
8.
Thomann do one that fits the t/bird quite easily thats £14 ive used it with a zzb (explorer) and it currently houses a T/Bird http://www.thomann.d..._bass_heavy.htm
What's the quality like on this one? seems super cheap...
9. Excellent thanks. Anyone know of a sherpa in London? Must have a healthy yak.
10. Just picked up an RD Artist (needed both hands) and it doesn't fit into my gig bag... Can anyone recommend a good, extra long gig bag? needs to be at least 49-50 ins internally.
11. The 4x10 tweed combo that is... I know they're marketed as guitar amps but could the cut the mustard with a bass?
12. Does anyone know how these compare with the 1x15" barefaced cabinets? I'm getting over my BFC due to the sensitivity (I call it 'flappyness') of the speaker - and the bottom end is a bit boomy. It's AMAZING for convenience but I'm starting to wonder if I can upgrade to a newer model and have convenience + a better and more rounded sound. Thoughts? If there's not much between them I'll stick with what I have.
13.
Everything about this is strange
everything.

16. I play my GT200 through a BF compact. It's very transparent, and I would say Hi Fi, and I find the tube amp tends to mellow out the sensitivity of the speaker a bit more than my Mark VI. No complaints from me. I do have an Ampeg HLF410 that sometimes gets used (and I prefer the sound through the 410), but mainly the BF does all I need and has the convenience factor, which wins every time.
17. goddamit i JUST missed it. That's the cheapest bean you'll see in this life or the next. Plus you get to choose whatever colour you refinish it in!
