  1. Tobias Toby pro 5 string, immaculate condition, been retro fitted with bartolini M5 soapbars and an East ACG filter preamp. Amazingly versatile bass, plays and sounds great. Lovely figured maple body, walnut and maple thru neck.
  2. "Here's a song i wrote for Prince" just before we do purple rain.
  3. Warwick rockbass starbass 5 string in black, immaculate condition, plays great, superb sound. Just can't get on with it. Will consider trades. PRICE DROP £400.

  5. Price reduced to £450. Willing to post to mainland UK for £20. Trades also considered, 5 or 6 string basses.
  6. *Price Drop £100* Allparts fretless jazz neck, ebony board, good condition, very little signs of wear on the fingerboard, satin finish, no name tuners that work fine, dodgy fender logo, the heel has some extra holes where it has been fitted in the past. No string tree.I bought it for a project then never used it. Price includes postage to mainland UK.
  7. String spacing is 19mm at the bridge and the nut is 45mm. There is only a cheap gig bag with the bass and I am in Essex.
  8. Lakland 55 01, black, maple neck. Bartolini mk1 pickups and eq, apart from one faint scratch it is immaculate. Plays great and sounds great, just not for me.
  9. Looks like a 4000, so the body is phenolic resin. I've got a fretted version.
  10. Bought Chris's markbass 4x10. Excellent bit of gear, great communication, wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again. Highly recommended!
  11. Just had a message in response to a wanted ad, the usual vague non committal stuff. The user in question is 'gearmas', newly registered today. Anyone else had messages from him?

  13. It was kind of based on a jazz bass I had at the time, ie a similar profile neck etc. originally it had bartolini soap bars paired with an East 2 band EQ. Sounded nice but a bit of a one trick pony, so I went for the EMG setup which improved it massively. Used it regularly for about 5 years on gigs and studio work then I acquired a rather lovely warwick 5 which I fell for and this bass became surplus. In an ideal world I'd have liked to have kept it but I'm glad it's being used and loved.
  14. This was originally made for me.
