  1. Believe they were marketed as a TR Revelation, late 90's, early 2000's. Guitarist mag ( possibly bassist, I forget) did a review on one.
  2. Price Drop, £120 delivered. Jazz body, quilt maple top, I believe it's a poplar back, part finished, needs a bit of work on the final finish. Bought this as is for a project, not going to get used now so here it is. Price includes postage to mainland UK.
  3. Markbass Little Mark 3, good condition, sounds great, everything works as it should. Price includes postage to mainland UK.
  4. Just received this yesterday, courtesy of @bigthumb with a lot of help from Mark Newman. Absolutely fantastic amp, bags of power, great tones, how people can say that these amps are sterile is beyond me. Not as heavy as i feared either, it's no lightweight certainly but manageable.
  5. Kate Bush's version of rocket man.
  6. Four sticks, nobody's fault but mine.
  7. I have recently come to enjoy jethro tull, for years I just thought of them as weird folky stuff about witches delivered by cat weasel standing on one leg, actually bothered to delve a bit deeper and found out I liked it.
  8. May consider trades, 6 string basses, or a nice telecaster guitar or anything really, try me.
  9. Here we have a virtually brand new Sire P7 5 string, bought brand new from Andertons just before Easter this year. It has an Alder body, rosewood board with blocks and binding. Weight is a middling 4.6kg on my scales. Active and passive modes, 3 band EQ with variable mid, and a passive tone roll off that works in both passive and active. This bass is as it came from the shop, to all intents and purposes is a brand new bass. Price includes postage.
  10. Well I've had a good Google, and have found chrome spiral bridges but not in black or gold. May to settle for chrome.
  11. Is it me or is it difficult to find a 20mm spaced BBOT bridge, especially in gold or black? Loads of 19mm around. I realise that hipshot etc do many different types but I'm feeling tightfisted and want to spend that much. If any of you fine folk have any suggestions I'd be most grateful.

  13. I've got a PJ with a seymour duncan p with a dimarzio stacked jazz at the bridge, it is a brilliant combination.

  15. What a fabulous bass!
  16. Late 80's, Markham music in Colchester had a blue ESP precision bass, with a maple neck, played it while trying out a laney combo, loved it to bits but couldn't afford it at the time, went back some time later but sadly gone.
  17. Sounds like the soundtrack to an episode of Morse.
  18. Best definitely my warwick thumb nt5, paid a ridiculously low amount for it, absolutely love it. Worst, a body and neck bought for a project that just weren't up to scratch, however it's a bit harsh saying they were awful cos I kind of knew what they were when I bought them.
  19. Warwick Streamer Jazzman, this is a most reluctant sale but needs must etc. I acquired this bass about 10 years ago, it had been abused somewhat and the original nirvana black finish was in a poor state. Being a painter, I decided to refinish it, first in a fetching pink then in the metallic grey it is now. It is in excellent condition, bar a couple of light scratches and a chip out of the paint where the neck ferrule was pushed in. Neck is straight and it can be set up as low as you want. Sound is fantastic, tight and punchy but with a vast range of adjustment from the 3 band eq plus coil tap etc. Weight is approx 10lbs, so not light but not unbearable. Comes with a Warwick rockbag. Would prefer local collection however I will post if necessary.
  20. Price Drop £400 Jazz bass bitsa, MIJ 75 reissue Fender neck, paired with an early 80's tokai body, Fender noiseless scn pickups, hipshot kick donkey bridge. The colour is a faded Olympic white, with a few cracks , scratches and natural wear. There was a gouge out the the top horn on the edge which I temporarily covered with a similar colour, with a view to doing a proper repair but never got round to it.( see pics) Can't see the damage from the front. There's a few knocks on the neck, but nothing that affects playability. Plays really well, great classic jazz bass sound, quite light too. Gig bag included, £25 postage, or collection from Witham.
  21. MTD Kingston K5 bass, John east 2 band eq added, good condition, plays well, great B string, light weight under 9lbs. The scratchplate is pearl white but I put some black fablon on instead, should peel off easy if you want to go back to the original. Gig bag included, postage £25.
