    Hmm, I can't sing but have been roped in by my bandmates to do backing vocals to a new song we're doing. It's singing to a very simple bassline but its fecking hard! I am always trying to practice, when there is no one in the house!

    I wouldn't say I am frustrated with my abilities as a bassist. I never wanted to be a musician anyway. Happy being a designer by trade! Despite that, I love performing in my original band and have been told that my basslines are sweet, solid, stand out and well thought out. I also hope we get loads of gigs and become more established. The only thing that really does frustrate me is trying to get gigs as an original band. We have been fully established since January 2012 and we have had one gig. That is poor. What is even more frustrating is pubs/venues not getting back to you. I guess I am a frustrated bassist lol.

    Just wandering if any of you guys go wireless. If so, how reliable can it be (obviously, using a non licenced frequency) and where / how much? Can I also link my pedals through without any interference? So many questions lol.

    I don't want to come across sexist either but she is a stunner. To be honest, I did first hear her stuff on my drummers MP3 player. Didn't know what she looked like. Didn't care. Tal is a genius no matter how she looks.

    Have this cab meself. Great, solid deep rich sound that can cut through everybody! Heavy but worth every penny. Somebody buy it!!

    I have HZ EMGs on my Spector Legend 5 and its my go to bass! The active pickups really do cut through the mix!

    Nice! I am currently blueprinting my pedalboard in my head. I echo your thoughts on the velcro, I will screw them in. Be best if I ever needed to sell/replace pedals.
