  1. used (gigged) once just before i left the last band blurb here ... https://www.astounded.com/shop/qtx-pb-1214-led-par-bar-system-stage-wash-light-package/ unfortunately i do not have the power leads as after leaving last band i was later presented with a big bunch of leads and cables returned to me which was a whole hotchpotch of things that werent actually mine πŸ™„ but they are standard IEC kettle leads - looking online a pair new would probably be around 200-250 so these are priced to sell without power leads absolutlely no trades offers please, cash on collection (north kent) - can drive a short distance if required to facilitate - location North Kent thanks
  2. i know that certain basschat dignitaries will be furiously racking their tiny little minds wondering what on earth happens on the sheepskin rug ? πŸ€”
  3. i tried in these second set of pictures to capture what was happinging with the alignment - basically the g string was almost off the edge of the fretboard and the e was way too far across - and the the bridge position it was dififcult to set up so that each string was sat neatly between the pickup poles
  4. before the neck reset and bridge reposition
  5. up for sale is this extremley attractive oly white J - purchased by me on a whim a few years ago but never really clicked with it even though it is a lovely looking and sounding bass it has had some remedial work carried out by Simon at 81guitarworks who spotted that the neck was quite badly misaligned and the corresponding bridge placement - the remedy was to take off the neck and reset and then reposition the bridge plate - the only issue being that the bridge plate needed so much realignment that it rendered the through body stringing channels unusable - we had to go for fender hi mass bridge to replace the original - will include a set of pics i took before the work to try and show how much out of line it was active/passive switchable, n3 noiseless pickups - the body and finish is mint - originally left the factory issued with a black plate but i bought with the tort - black original will be included along with original bridge and all the usual case candy - includes the new style fender hard case no swaps trades or offers please i am currently thinning the herd
  6. Hi all - up for grabs is my tx600 - i tried gigging once but it was underwhelmed with it s lack of oomff so basically for three years it has had just ocassional rehearsal room use - minor scuffs on casing nothing drastic - have original box whilst i personally do not think it can hold its own against a large full band and PA, it is still quite suited to lower power/volume gigs acoustic setups etc all the tech blurb here... http://www.samsontech.com/hartke/products/amplifiers/tx-series-amplifiers/tx600/ no swaps, trades or offers please - this is priced to sell
  7. surprisingly very little buckle rash considering how well this bass has been around the block πŸ˜‰
  8. you saw the bit in the title thats says North Kent yes? πŸ˜‰
  9. Hi as you can see from the side neck image there is a small line along the edge of the fretboard - has never shifted in all my time of owning it and no structural issue with it whatsoever just cosmetic
  10. oops forgot to add - because of the new tone circuit, a new battery cavity was routed into the back to east battery change as the control cavity is a screw plate and wasnt particularly the easiest for battery changes
  11. Purchased on the very boutique some years ago from Cosmo Valdemar, this bass has quite the basschat history and passed through several owners! Hopefully now after some tasy mods whoever buys this will want to actually keep hold of it rather than wondering why its not quite reaching that full status potential I could tell it had potential when i got it but alas not with its issue passive pups and 'basic' tone circuit. Originally tried it with a j-east circuit which sounded very good but sounded nothing at all like a status - so i deccided to set about getting it modded a wee bit to get it to how we all know a status should sound Took the original passi ve pups out and replaced with a pair of hyperactives new from the status website. All the pots were very old and dirty and noisy so all replaced with new and new knobs. Spoke with Rob at the factory to ascertain if any of the current stock boards would drop into the cavity but alas not - after a rummage around the workshop he found a suitable custom tone circuit for 150 notes - this did require an extra hole drilling through the body to place the fourth knob. Final purchase was a hiscox status case from the factory - the bass has had a set up a couple years ago by SIMON AT 81GUITARWORKS very minimal tweaking required as expected and it has been playing great ever since - comparitivley light so if weight is an issue then this is for you No swaps or trades plase as this and my US J are subject to herd thinning Prefer cash on collection or instant money transfer on collection Sorry will not post or courier but am prepared to drive a reasonable distance
