No doubt about that. It's also an ungulate.
Llamas are dangerous so if you see one where people are swimming you shout: (Cuidado! Llamas!!) 'Look out there are Llamas!!'
Thanks, but I have the dots..... I'm finding half the battle is deciding where best to play the notes for speedy movement! Lol!
there is no real left hand speed needed to speak of - as always there is more than one way to skin a cat and the doubled walking line in the verse can be played and varied in a couple of positions - if i get chance this morning i will throw up a quick tab of the position where my playing style find the flow of the pattern smoothest - the walking line during the verse is in 16 and pretty tight and straight but there are occasional points where it is punctuated at the start or end of the phrase with a small syncopated skip - try not to let the skip continue through into the next section of the phrase all the drive in this is totally with the right hand and dont forget the rising octaves in the chorus that the first lower note is a double hit hope this helps -
Looking for a bit of advice regarding a student
but I gather that can be frowned upon by the bass community ?!
just frown right back and pluck or pick away to your heart's content i shouldnt worry about it too much - it will mostly be keyboard warriors who should be practising their scales anyway -
maybe they should have tried this sort of format... http://youtu.be/dJTzTQgsS-4
Steve-bbb I really love the J basses, and I had a Fretless Jazz in the past. But I'm living in 45 sqm. With a guitar, soon 3 basses, and yesterday I ordered an RH750. My girlfriend will kill me, in reason, if I come home with another bass.
only if she finds out!
I suspect half the floor is full of celebs on their best behaviour but trying to be edgy and the other half is full of their yes men.
and the only vaguely naughty thing being the two paddypower hired stooges in their green underpants? or were there others? shame that rock and roll cant even give us another jarvis cocker to pull a moon at one of the über famous attendees
Okay, I just watched the above video & will admit that probably wasn't her best performance but I do feel she's a genuinely talented artist (though not actually to my tastes) that has developed her career very well & in the right way. Shame about the other 99% of our day time radio!
isnt it just! out of sheer desperation (and possibly a sign of old age) i now tune to radio 4 during the daytime

final coat and appearance will only be as good as the prep you put into the base coats how about get some good quality wrapping vinyl? easy enough to apply (with a bit of practice - plenty of vids on youtube to see how its done and get some spare vinyl to practice before the final run) easy to change too if you decide you dont like the colour/finish http://solutions.3m....hicle-wrapping/ http://www.mdpsupplies.co.uk/vehiclewrapping.asp http://www.grafityp.co.uk/auto%20fx%20vinyl.html -

I just heard on t'wireless Lily Allen being interviewed and her comments about everybody being super super nice and scared to cause any sort of kerfuffle

just to see what everybody is bleating on about having not watched the brits i decided to search it on youtube i made it to 1:40 tis one thing to sing with such style (or affectation if you prefer) but regardless of her unique err style, her delivery comes across as weak and lame possibly overawed by the occasions and the expectation to deliver imho ymmv mcton etc etc as an aside. not being one to personally dabble in the vocal arts these days, does a vocal style like that present issues with autotune? defniitely so i bought a fretless vmJ on here - the neck was fairly marked from roundwounds so i rubbed it down to remove the marks and changed it from a high gloss ebonol finish to a nice semi-matt which has more of the lustre of a piece of wood and looks more natural imho see earlier threads here and here the ebonol will mark with roundwounds but then so will rosewood - i think with the ebonol also it is down very much to your playing style - if you play fairly heavy with a pick then it will probably end up marking noticeably - if you play with fingers possibly less so - ive restrung mine with roundwound swingbass and no problems at all, some minor cosmetic marks on the neck but no deep gouges from the strings but then i am not a 'heavy' player and have a rather minimal/economical style so pressure is less of an issue - one thing that is a big no no with the ebonol is never bend the string as you would on a fretted bass or guitar, that will make a significant mark in the neck also with the vmJ, i did try it with some black nylon flats to see how it would sound, the result was hardly any output! was very weak. as soon as i put some roundwounds on it began to sing beautifully, the seymour designed pups are quite big and have a failry meaty output for passive and respond very well to roundwounds and it produces this sort of tone quite nicely ...
