2. I got this used on here a while ago to try it out but it's not for me. Still got plenty of life left in it, only had a few months use overall I think. 20 quid delivered to your door.
3. I'm selling a pair of 5 string EMG 40CSX pickups, both in excellent condition. I got them for a jazz bass I've had rerouted for soap bars and they've got a great sound but the control cavity isn't really big enough to accomodate a battery so I think I'll go passive. 80 quid posted or trade for passive pickups of the same size with some cash adjustment, EMG 40HZ would be nice but hit me with what you have. EMG say... "The EMG 40CSX is a big sounding modern humbucker for players looking to tame the higher frequencies in their bass tone. The two coils loaded with ceramic magnets and steel poles provide warmth and punch with a smooth top end and plenty of output. With the on-board X Series preamp, this pickup takes on added dynamic response and touch sensitivity, giving it a feel that is similar to a passive pickup while maintaining the sonic range of an active. This model uses an extended housing that is 4 inches (102mm), perfect for five string basses"

5. The jacks on my ODB-3 came loose a couple of years ago causing the wires to snap off. I soldered them back where they appeared to go but either it wasn't right or something was grounding that shouldn't have been. Anyhoo, I've just dug it out and I want to get it fixed up but I can't find any photos of the connections to the jacks, only shots of the PCB. Could somebody pop theirs open and take a couple of photos so I can see where the wires go, please? I would be eternally grateful.
6. I bought a hipshot extender from Peter a couple of weeks ago. It was a perfect transaction, speedy postage, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again. Cheers Peter!

9. Full size Ritter gig bag, generally in great condition except the previous owner took off/broke off the smaller carry handles. There's still plenty of handles to grab on to and back pack straps. Two bow pockets (one with squishy insert), couple of pockets on the front and a bigger one on the back for sheet music, etc. I've only every used it for keeping a spare bass in at home. £50 or make me an offer, I need my spare room back. Edit: forgot to add the picture. Can get a better one if needed. 10. Gone I'm afraid, forgot to update the post.
11. This be gone. Barefaced Generation 3 Big Baby II with silver cloth grill, full specs here: http://barefacedbass.../Big-Baby-2.htm I've only had this cab just over three months but due to car problems and no one buying my old Markbass cab I'll have to offer it up. Sounds amazing, loads of punch, loads of girth and takes everyone by surprise how light it is. It's got one small ding on the top rear edge from tight squeeze car packing but is otherwise in perfect condition. A great chance to get one of these cabs without the waiting time of a new one. 12. I was a bit sceptical of Chas and Dave before they started but they won me over straight away.
13. Did anyone else go and see Les last night?
14. Check out a British Cuban band called Son Yambu, just spent a week with them at a world music festival in Borneo and they were at Glastonbury too. All really great players, serious grooves happening and you can go and see them in the flesh! They're playing in Manchester on 19th July if that's anywhere near your bit of Sunny Yorkshire.
15. I think Jack White was enhanced by the atmosphere. I was up at the front and loved every disheveled minute of it whereas some mates much further back didn't get it at all. Metallica sounded huge live and I thought they pulled out all the stops and nailed the show. Other highlights were St Vincent, Royal Blood, Jurrasic 5 who I thought I'd never get to see and Melt Yourself Down. To be honest though I'm having trouble remembering a lot of the weekend... I'll have to get on iPlayer for a reminder.
