1. Similar thread not too long back - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...09&hl=Valve Helpful list, then you've got the older 2nd hand and vintage stuff.
2. Nice 6x10 that!
3. Nice one, cheers, PM coming to discuss
4. Black pickup covers to put on a Gibson SG bass to replace the chrome ones? If so, please help me find where I'm thinking of putting all black hardware on my worn ebony Gibson. ta!
5. I'm not, it wasn't what I was after in the end so sold it on again on these very boards! lol. Cheers though
6. Top bloke, sold me a Sansamp PBDDI, great transaction, great comms and was very happy to accommodate the time I was picking it up Buy with confidence folks
7. I'll have the expression pedal off you if you're happy to split?
8. What would everyone say the best tracking octave pedal is for bass at the mo please? I have a couple that go apesh!t (in a good, crazy 8-bit kinda way) so just need one that tracks well now lol Cheers.

Vox 2x15

Looks cool, but 100 watts won't be of use to a lot of people I don't reckon.
10. Tell them I should get a discount when I pick up on the 28th
11. I'd possibly be interested in the Vox cab, where is he based?
12.
I'm not gonna flood the market. Trickle them out slow, between rigging them all up and using them for Warrior Pope gigs (assuming that project takes off once I put effort into it again).
I wanna see you gig them all at once
Nice cab! needs a svt on top of it!
Haha, bloody lovely isn't it it's gonna get a Matamp on it in a couple of weeks! Flogging my SVT3-PRO that lives on it at the studio at the mo'
13. Cheers for the heads up on the free eBay listing, might pop it on if I remember! At work at the mo' I think the ampeg I'm selling is sold, meant to be picked up next week, so in a week I might be withdrawing it and keeping it If I do I'm gonna get it flightcased and keep it in the tip top condition it is. It's almost 40 yr old, so it's only gonna get worth more! Saying that, we've got you flooding the Market to deal with at some point
14. That looks quite cool with chickenheads on, I've kept my original knobs on mine, keeping the spare full set around for now. Nobody wanna buy this lovely valve beast then?
15. Provisionally sold pending payment and pick up.
16. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, when I went there to make an order, they don't do the light up faceplate anymore
17. Blimey! This is a really cracking example of an almost 40 yr old amp... I keep having a rethink but I don't need so many amps! After hearing Mr. Foxens verdict, this is now also up for sale for £ If the ampeg svt3-pro sells first I'm keeping this!
18. Oh yes, I now want it too! Any idea how much?
19. Have you popped the Chicken heads on yet? How does it look?
20.
gorgeous!!!!! looking to buy and amp towards the end of the month so if you still have it ill get in touch
Thanks man, get in touch if you are still after it then. If the Sound City goes first, I might hang on to it, but get back to me if you do want it at the end of the month
21. £280 was a bargain for you Paul! When I took this to Dave Lunt, he reckoned mine was worth about £500 in the condition it's in, but to be honest, that sounds quite high to me. For what this cost me, and then the price of the service to have it all double checked, if I had to put a number on mine, it would be £400 I reckon. Mr. Foxen is welcome to chime in too, cos he will have a better idea I reckon.
Would you like to trade for a Phil Jones M-300 in a hard case?
No thanks, I would be probably avoiding any more amps, unless it was something that really perked my interest, or a Matamp cab. Thanks though
22. So far Björk, Anathallo and Red Sparowes have been some of the best live performances I can remember. Björk never fails to leave me gob smacked, and with the most recent show, Biophilia, the bass line to the first song is played by a big massive tesla coil! Edited to add some videos - Anathallo - More Anathallo - Red Sparowes -
23. SOLD: ALL GONE! Thanks. Now up for sale only, no trades (unless its something spectacular ) For sale for - Big price drop - £350 for one of the best condition Sound City amps I reckon you will see! So its my Sound City B120 mkIV head, think its from about 1972, its a brilliant condition example of these amps, and has recently been serviced and checked over by Dave Lunt, the recommended amp tech here in Manchester, who said it was probably the best kept Sound City he had seen. Comes with the original plastic amp cover, and all the valves in it are 6x Mullard EL34's! I'm gonna take some more pics of it specifically when I'm next in the studio, but heres some pics I already had of it for you to have a peek at (obviously the Ampeg cab isn't included) - Cheers.
24. Interested, waiting for pics
25. I will add these while I'm here too, cos they are already up in the For Sale thread -
