  1. I bought a squier from thomann not long go to just have on hand to play with, electro acoustic, sounds nice, great for the price at just under £80 - http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_squier_sa105ce_bk.htm?sid=34633a7d42a930d1d10cead12a114b46 Or if you're not bothered about the pickup and stuff, they have a squier dreadnought for about £47 on there. Other than that their Harley Benton range are cheap as chips!
  2. AHHHH, I just bought one of these new 3 weeks ago!! Amazing pedal like. I love it. Do I need two?
  3. Haha, no worries. Nice bass. Sorry if I missed it, but whereabouts are you? Cheers
  4. I may be interested, except there's too much info to digest...
  5. Third dibs haha...
  6. I did, it's on its way to you as we speak
  7. Had a little play of this today, and its so nice its changed my views on non-maple boards! Whoever buys this wont be disappointed!
  8. Hey all, So has anybody ever wanted their bass to sounds like a Nintendo? Come on it can't have just been me? Well anyway, I went through quite a few effects trying to get the sound, came close, but in the end I went the whole hog and just found a way to play my bass through the NES sound chip I used my bass into the b2m bass to midi adaptor, then into the NES, then took the sound out of the NES to my bass amp. Dirty NES chip tune awesomeness! Even better if anyone has a midi pickup or bass already. Or can just be used with a MIDI keyboard, or any software like ableton or protools to sequence with. Allsorts of fun, and can be used for miles more than just that, if you need some more details have a read here - http://www.wayfar.net/0xf00000_overview.php Anyways, these MIDINes carts are pretty rare, and there's a few specialist places I will list this if nobody here wants it, but wanted to give you all the first chance. So I'm selling the MIDINes cart, with an american NES (needed to be in tune, as it runs at a different speed to UK NES) and a tiny little LCD screen to pop on top of the NES for live use. £200 for all this which is a bargain considering its very hard to get hold of, and I will advertise it higher on the specialist chip tune sites. Any interest? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSKkDCm0rjw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJl0M3tD_6s
  9. Cheers for that, pitch box on its way!
  10. Boss cs3 gone as well.
  11. Called Color Film... Really like it, proper The Cure vibe to my ears. I love Glassjaw, and would love to be in a band of that style, but everything this guy does, seems to tick all the right boxes for me! Have a listen - http://m.soundcloud.com/color-film/bad-saint
  12. Yup, that's the tracking it tracks some notes better than other, generally better tracking the higher the note. It's monophonic too, so can get a bit confused if you play more than one note, or of there's a bit of overlap of the notes...
  13. This could do with black blocks and black nylon strings I'm tempted!
  14. Bloody ridiculous strop, pretty entertaining though. This gets my vote for 'most lockable thread ever'
  15. Never been in a covers band, not for any reason, just never have been.
  16. I predict the super12 will fly off, I'd have been tempted had it been silver grill, I'm fussy like that
  17. Just for the record, I want one of these again now doh!
  18. I'm seriously tempted by this just cos they are so cute!
  19. Paul, I still need to get those spare knobs to you, so if you wanted to buy this, I could pick this up for you and drop off next time I'm in Boro? I'm next there 25th or 26th of this month.
  20. PM me mate, you know I fancy this bass, lets work something out cheers.
