It seems like it was designed for a guitarist who wants to dabble in bass. All of the above that apply to how ugly it is.
But now i feel bad for the bass because its being called ugly. What about the ugly duckling.....
Cool score man,.
I remember a few years ago when i picked up this 60's kay bass for £40. It had been hung in a restaurant for about 20 years. He had a few other guitars as well, nothing special, but i only had £40.
I dont really want a Real rick, but i want to make my own version of one, with maybe 2 or 3 J pups in the same places. I love the body shape and the neck.
Im looking for something, some sort of box via USB, not direct into the audio in, to record some of my bass with. Is there anything out there that fits the bill? Ideally, id like to have my bass playing out my amp as well as into the computer.
Its a rare Mouradian CS-74 bass.
And heres a link to someone who has one and posted pictures of it with EMG pups.

I was thinking magnometer, but its all stuff for iphones and g sensors which comes up for it.
I suppose i could try that bag thing. i now need a newton meter and a calculator
Im looking for something simple that measures magnetic strength for pickups, maybe as well as polarity (not a compass)
Does anyone know the name of what i am looking for? Ive searched the bay using some search terms, but im not sure if they are correct.
